    Hi all,

Hope you guys are all well DMP journey today. True you will get there, and i'm sure you will here soon from your creditors. Sometimes they accept but don't let you know as did Barclaycard with me. , it was only because i checked my only statement and the payment was set as my payment from my DMP. Chin up love.

Tedsd with regard to teh NSD's it is hard but well worth it. It stops you from spending any cash you might have in your purse/wallet on that choccy bar or lunch out you take sandwiches instead. I don't include essentials like bills, food shopping etc as they have there own budget.

Aw thanks Gabs, I'm persevering with the tokens until next month will just wait and see what happens! Still thinking about getting CCCS to set it up for me and then take over, but DH seems to think it better if I do it  mmm we'll see!

Had a meeting at work last night, about 20 anxious people all gathered in one room, imagine the tension....we should know where we are at by March 31st, so I may make the DMP 1st May deadline after all...!!

Ooo fingers crossed Teddy, how long have you been waiting now?

I take an evening off to slump on the sofa and we grow another 2 pages. Should we call the Prof, Batty now?
Someone asked about Egg, they were the first to accept, huges amounts of money that we owe them, they stopped interest but only from the day that the first payment arrived from CCCS, which I suppose is fair enough.
Cap One were fab with me and have driven OH completely bonkers (he was already but you know) wanting his passport to prove he was him (!!!!!!!!!!!) doing the circle talking with half a dozen people on the other side of the world who have a less than perfect grasp of the English language, especially with a Scottish accent. All quiet at the moment though, so I just can't be bothered to phone them again.
I used to be a teacher too, English and History
True pet lamb, yu are doing great, I know how you feel, some days I just want to disappear under the duvet, but I earn substantially more than the OH, so we would go down the pan, pronto.
This year as well as getting the finances sorted out, I have decided to sort me out too, I don't do anything I don't want to do, once you get to that point it is strangely liberating. Haven't fallen out with anyone, just tell them its not what I want to do and I don't do it. I have a stressful job and I largely do my own diary, just don't make appoinments at the crack of dawn, I now only function after 10.00am, only if that local mind and not the other end of the country. Eases the stress quite a bit and no one has really argued with me about it.

    Hi True,

glad it's going well despite the burns...never thought about that part of it...

I didn't read your post as depressing, just saw you re evaluating life and what you now want from it, a new beginning!!! I can empathise with you on some of it, I've recently been looking back at how much stress I took on, how little time I allowed for people, always had to be somewhere 'can't stop' were my 1st words when going round to see someone......Here's to a New You and a New Me!!!

Can I second the above True,

Funny this is my big 40 this year. I woke up on New Years Day and said this is my year and its about me!
I want to be in control and sorting the finance side of things is one of the 1st things I had to sort. I now have a grip on it.( fingers crossed and purses locked)
I too always said 'can't stop'. Now I am changing this to 'Lets get together':)

True- just a quick question, you say CCCS is setting it up for you and you will take over, what will you have to do if you take over?
CCCS have set mine up and I was just wandering it entails?
Sorry for the stupid question x

Now that the home education is out in the open I can speak freely about our plans for the day, LOL! After lunch, when "school" is over, we plan to go to the post office for postal orders, then to the library and the park. Is 1.00 (broken pound sign) really enough, I know I keep asking this but I have to pinch myself, I feel like I'm getting away with something naughty! My 6 min payments range from 25.00 to 140.00. Also, in my budget there is 50.00 per month for education, so I'm worried the creditors might query that. It covers the kids curriculum, books and educational trips/national trust membership etc. What does everyone think?

Yup £1.00 is all you need to send. This is the min payment cc will accept. I think people have said on here £1.00 to £10.00. But, £1.00 you can really send. Keep the rest for an emergency.
Im sure someone will come along and clarify the details x
