Hi True, how's the job and the self managed DMP going??? How are you?
Hey Teddy!
I sent token payments again this month, haven't had written acceptance from anyone so farobviously they could have called - but you know my approach to that :rotfl:
The job is ok, I mean its great to actually leave the house for one and earning the extra money certainly makes things a bit more comfortable, but my god, the burns! My hands and arms are currenty covered in scars!!
Although I had a bit of a wobble recently - before everything went wrong I was working in a pretty powerful role, managing people, I'd completed the first two years of a law degree, earning big money etc - and I know working in the shop is a huge step for me, but I think reality is kicking in. I'm starting to realise just how much of an impact my mental health has had and continues to have on my entire life and I want out. I want a new True.
Sorry for the slightly depressing tone! Off to batch bake bread for the arrival of PDD's addicts :rotfl:

It's been a bit carp! Big hopes that 2010 is going to be our year - so far so good, getting finances sorted, DH's new job, me leaving the house and all by the begining of March! :j

Hiya! A DMP is a Debt Management Plan. It basically takes the sum of money you can afford after essentials and distributes pro-rata payments to creditors. HTH x

Hi All
Well I did it. Posted it all back to the CCCS yesterday on special delivery. They received it today and have already e-mailed me with a hiccup.
My payslip states my current pay. But from April its due to drop by £70 and my DMP is based on that. However they state they need something in writing to confirm my wage is dropping by that amount. Makes sense and i understand why they need it, however it means im going to have to spend all day tomorrow begging a very un-helpful and under staffed HR dept at work to put something in writing as a matter of urgency. Their idea of urgent means in two weeks time (if your lucky). Given that ive planned all this to fall into place for the 1st April i now feel sick.
I had been so organised and really got my act together so this could go as smootly as possible. Aaaagggh.
Im also worried about some of the other posts where Egg seem to be a real problem. They are my biggest creditor with an outstanding balance of £11000. My current repayments are £335 per month but on the DMP will be about £190. Do you think they are going to kick up? Does anyone have any good experiences of them?0
