there were lots of them available?
anyone knows of some good links where to find them?
This card is discontinued, so you probably won't find them in the shops, but you will on Ebay. I do add the potential warning that this card might use more power than the Socket Go cards that are "Low Power". However the socket go cards don't have the extra 256 MB memory....so it's a balance of what you want - battery life or memory with your wifi.
Not sue they come on Ebay often but the model number is SDWSDB-256 SanDisk0 -
Just as I was reaching for the phone this morning to check that CET were going to honour my order guess what arrives!!!
I've been so incredibly lucky with this purchase. I started the online purchase around 2pm yesterday. Towards the end of the purchase I was getting web page errors preventing me from completing. Used the back button a few times and refreshed a few times. I was just about to start the whole process from scratch when I tried it one more time and it went through. And, its a good job that I didn't restart the purchase from scratch because as soon as I'd completed I went back to the original page to find that the offer had vanished!
So a big thank you to deanos and yebaws!
By the way, mine came with a car holder and car charger.0 -
Can you use any Wi-Fi SD Card with this?0

Probably not. I only know that the one I have works with it. I haven't tried others.0 -
I have seen various makes like SafeCom, SocketGo and SpecTec.0

Yep. Like I posted earlier.... there are different makes, and I only chose that one because it had 256MB storage psace. All others are just WiFi and no storage space, but then u can store stuff on the pda itself so it's a balance of what ur requirements are. The Low Power Socket Go one sounds interesting (E300 I think), and it would use less power, but without 256MB memory at the same time as being online.0
