Wow, mine was delivered at 1:30 PM today by Initial City Link. I was going to call CET later on but no need now ;)

Looks like it was delivered via a Next Day service despite the website quoting 2-5 days.

Back to the main thread - has anyone called CET yet to confirm their order? Last post I saw was one guy saying he had had his delivered! no news since then - should I ring or not....

    :)

It's probably best that you ring just to make absolutely sure. Just say that the email said that you would be rung by the web security dept. and that hasn't happened yet.

I've examined the package on mine and it seems like CET may have mistakenly given me next day delivery. But just checked with my credit card company and they have definately only charged me for 2-5 day! :-)

I only ordered mine yesterday and just received it.

I have tom tom 5.210 running fine on my loox, but I can't get it to pick up GPS data. I know the GPS woks because I've tried it through other apps. Can you tell me what settings you have in the tom tom software and in the main system device settings please? (baud rate, port numbers etc). It's a nice PDA, but comes with NO helpful instructions at all. JUst a huge book on "saftey" in a billion languages...

It is Other Cable NMEA GPS, baud rate 9600, COM8.

For anyone having a problem with an SD card error when using the SAT NAV on the PDA I have found a fix which can be downloaded from here:

    http://www.fujitsu-siemens.co.uk/support/downloads_1.html

Select all from the two options and the title for the patch is:

SW patch for Navigon MN5 SD Card Error

I have installed it on my PDA, going to test it again later.

And you leave the Windows Mobile GPS settings as is?

I installed TomTom Navigator 5.210 (GPS Driver 1.20) PDA version.

Anyway, I press the GPS button on the PDA and its picking up no satellites and neither does TomTom.

These settings worked for me with the windows mobile settings left untouched. If you can't even get a fix with the GPS locator you may have another problem. Is there a flashing green light on the top left as you look at the screen? This indicates that the PDA is searching for sats.

The flashing light on the top left is flashing orange on mine

Sorry, can't help you with that. The instructions that you get with the PDA are pants. Don't know if there's a tech support number. If it's faulty you'd need to call them first anyway.

Anybody found a good cheap external antenna?

Mine works but the flashing light is orange not green.
