I ordered lamb chops in a restaurant and when I could not eat them all, I wrapped up the remaining two in my serviette and put them in my handbag to take home.
Trouble was, I was on a first date, and he knew I did not have a dog! He said nothing, and there were more dates, so maybe it did not look too strange. I was just wishing I hadn't done it though.0 -
i squash toilet rolls too and it works saves the kids from rolling it off a mile at a time.
i acquire paracetamols from work and bin bags and a bleachy based cleaning powder ahem

Please can someone talk me through the whole 'squashed loo roll' tip? My boys would go through a roll a day if they had the choice.
I've 'borrowed' stamps from work to post my christmas cards.
Do not allow the risk of failure to stop you trying!0 -

Its basically as it sounds - just kind of hold it in your hand and press down - so that the middle goes flat - then put it on your dispenser. People naturally don't take as much as it doesn't spin round.

You do kinda sound bitter but you made me smile
I can't really think of a 'tight' thing i've done lately but I did a very 'un-tight' thing. Was out in a bar after a graduate induction thing, I was getting some food for one of the girls I met, but the tab had been settled already so I paid for her food and didn't tell her. My good deed for the month.I'm better off without you.0 -
just told my OH about the loo roll things.....apparently (news to me) he's a bit OCD and uses exactly the same number of sheets every time!!!!!things you learn about the love of your life:rolleyes:
i knew about the OCD BTW."A banker is a fellow who lends you his umbrella when the sun is shining, but wants it back the minute it begins to rain." Mark Twain0 -
Sorry for my ignorance but what is OCD?I'm better off without you.0
