            I once put 1p into someone at work's leaving present sheet. I didn't like him but didn't have the nerve to refuse to contribute. I would just say "no" now!
 PS- the penny went into a group envelope. Wish I had been there when it was counted." The greatest wealth is to live content with little."

            Saved up empty coke bottles and refilled them at home so I didnt have to buy at work.
 Took my grandma a present in a gift bag then 'spirited' it away once she had got her pressie ready for another day.The early bird gets the worm but the second mouse gets the cheese :cool:0

            I refill my water bottle from the spring water cooler at work. And use plastic crates as furniture. And reuse wrapping paper.'Everyone loves to read but it can be a real nuisance when you lose your place. Here's a solution. When you finish reading a page, just tear it out. You'll save money on bookmarks too!' -- Amanda's Handy Hints, Amanda Keller. :cool:0

            I read on here that some people crush full toilet rolls so that people naturally don't take as many sheets off - but I can't remember whose suggestion that was?!?
 But I did it! Haven't measured if its working or not yet!
 scottishspendaholicMBNA = £4,000 / Next = £925 (approx. tbc on 19/8)
 Tesco = £2,910.11 / Smile overdraft = £500
 Bank of Scotland = £2,782.830

            I refill water bottles from the water cooler at work too.
 I try and cadge lifts home from work as often as possible from people who drive past my side of town, to save on bus fare (although car sharing is encouraged I guess now anyway).
 I guess the tightest thing I have done is conveniently time doing the washing up whilst boyfriend is in shower so that the fluctuating temperature p****d him off so much he got out of shower quicker (we are on a meter obviously!).
 If I think of any more I will post....Bank Balance: In the black for the moment.
 Sainsburys Loan: Cleared July 2010
 Credit cards: AMEX Airmiles Card: direct debit set to clear balance monthly
