Whats the tightest thing youve done...

since becoming a DFW?

Im struggling to come up with one at the moment....or is it that I dont think Im tight anymore when I so blatantly am

OH forced down the most foul glass of *house* red wine to get our moneys worth, the grimace was priceless.

Anyway over to you :)
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast

Um...I've bunked my train fare a few times at times when I correctly suspected there'd be no inspectors around *blushes*

Oh god, erm tightest thing ever, i always steam stamps off envelopes, and a postman friend told me you know all the junk mail you get, with freepost envelopes, you can cross the address out, put youes on there, and it gets delivered, i do this quite a lot.
I used to forever buy books i wanted to, photocopy them in work, and then send them back for a refund.

It sure is true, also, another embarrassing moment, i signed up for 1 of those free cd clubs, and then at the end of the trial period i posted a blank envelope to the club address and got a certificate of posting then when the club billed me a final bill saying i hadnt paid i turned round to them and said but oh i did, here's a copy of my certificate of posting.... ok, i feel bad now.

Wiping over paper plates and plastic disposable knives and forks. I didn't understand why my husband laughed at me. As i see it we could use them again. Also reuse wrapping paper. Well why not. No one will know.

When I go on my weekly treat to a cafe I make sure I take more of those milk portions than I really need and more sugar than I need so I can have a cheaper coffee when I get home :o

Wrap old bottles (salad cream etc) with pretty wrapping paper to use as vases.

For years I had a cardboard box covered with a scarf as a coffee table.
