it's 2 pm i should be in the bath getting ready for this wedding that starts at 5pm (ive never heard of a wedding that starts at that time before) i have to shave my legs and wash my hair i'm still up from the night shift havnt slept since yesterday and yet i just cant be a rsed in moving ....have looked at all my bank accounts though and made sure money is travelling between accounts so that's something lol

thanks hypno well we left the wedding at 8.30 i am now enschonced on my couch eating pizza getting ready to watch harry potter (the last one before i see the new one) then i'm off to bed i'm feeling happy i'm getting to spend a few hours with my hubby have missed him alot cause i have been working

cheers night shift tomorrow and sunday (start at 2pm sunday finish at 8 am monday) so i'm deff gonna enjoy tonight ....

why oh why did i put my name down to do an overtime shift ...i was night shift last night came in at 8 am this morning went to bed and i start work at 2pm not finishing till 8 am tomorrow ...i must be desperate ...i spose at least it's another £30 to the debt paying pot but i'm deff stopping doing as much i'm exhausted totally shattered today

well i've done it and i'm heading off to bed but not till hubby leaves for work (which will be soon) so i thought i would check the mail from the weekend and opened up my t.v license bill this normally fills me with oh hell how am i gonna pay that this year ...but thankfully this time thanks to a thing i onc read martin had written about xmas coming round every year so we really shouldnt be surprised but plan for it (or words to that effect) i actually planned for it this year i have the money to pay my t.v license ...yes i grudge every bl00dy penny and it certainly aint worth it but i do have the money so i've learned something and it is paying off ...so i'm feeling positive today

I hope you manage to get a good amount of sleep today before going back to work.

re the TV licence, I'm with you there - loads of money we could do without paying, but have to or risk a huge fine! We have started doing ours by DD this year to keep on top of it :mad:

i'm still up hubbys van has broken down and there is no chance of me getting a sleep while he is here might need to forgo the pleasure of sleeping just now will make sure i make up for it tonight ...sorry to hear about your ring is everything ok now?

I have not yet taken my ring in to the jewellers. I like the idea of using Dad's wedding ring but that means taking it to a specialist jewellers and that means £££££. I may ask OH to do this for my birthday or Christmas present instead.

Aches and pains wise, I am getting there slowly. The horrid neck brace does work, but it is not nice to wear in this heat. the headaches have receded since I started wearing it though so I will persevere. My hands and arms are more worrying to me because of the work I do, but the physio is working on them so we will get there. I have more physio tomorrow.

apart from that, everything is ok, debt is not moving as fast as I would like, but that is the same for most of us so I can't complain really!

Holiday was cancelled, as you may have read, so we are having a holiday at home next week - I am not as unhappy about it as I thought I would be, so all positive really. We couldn't really afford a holiday, so this is prob the best thing all round - blessing in disguise and all that!!

I hope the van starts soon and you can get some shut-eye x
