I'm right there with you on the telly mess - our free view has died so I am trying to make them last as long as poss before buying a new one. Unfortunately our normal ariel is not great so fuzzy foggy TV it is!!!

Good news on the quidco front though, nice little bonuses every now and again.

Well our freeview box WAS ok until this week! Much cheaper than sky though and still a good choice of channels for those in the hypno house that need them.....!

Whatever did we do in the olden days

Yes, I'm from West Yorkshire! Don't think I'm your sister in law, because my sister in law can barely use a computer lol! Unless she has a secret life that I don't know about. :D How funny that she's due at the same time and has been decorating too - although I felt the urgent need to redecorate during my last pregnancy too, so maybe it's a nesting thing.

Our bedroom is now a lovely tranquil pale cream colour, with an 'oatmeal' (pale brown lol) feature wall, and mocha (slightly darker brown) accessories - the carpet isn't down yet (they're fitting it tomorrow), but then we can move back in and finally stop sleeping on a mattress in the living room! (not comfy at nearly 8 months pregnant!!)

well ive just had a woman on the phone from barclay card saying "we know you asked us not to call you at home but we feel that we really would like to tell yo about this promotion and can i say these calls are all recorded" i responded with " well if i've told you not to call why are you calling ...what can be soooo fantastic that you feel you have to go against my wishes and call me" reply was " oh we just want you to know about this promotion" to which i replied " well let me assure you that when i say dont contact me i mean dont contact me is your company so ignorant that it ignores the requests of it's customers and given that you have chosen to ignore the request of this customer and told me about it do you think i would be likely to take your promotion or complain" with an added " i know it's your job but you really should be going for job satisfaction unless you like to rudely interupt people with your unwelcome phone calls" and finished off before she could speak "have a nice day" as you can probably guess poor woman was american ...my life has became so boring that this is a highlite lol

cant decide if this is a positive step or not ...managed to go a whole month without using the visa ...now that is positive ...but i did use the overdraft (not positive) however i clear my visa every month now (never used to, alot of our debt was visa related) so i dont pay any interest any more ...but if i use my over draft i do ok i wont pay much a couple of pounds at most ...but if i had stuck to using the visa wouldnt have paid a penny so did i do the right thing ...visa's have always been a problem for me so i had to break the cycle ...and i am now back in the black with the over draft ...oh the dilema
