well today i totally fell off the d.f.w wagon ..smashed it to smitherines and trampled on top of it to be truthfull...it happened like this....we have a couple of trees in our front garden one of which is dead and infested ..so hubby decided to cut it down..i asked him repeatedly if he wanted a hand ..but he insisted that no he was ok... so i carried on with a bit of housework (total rarity for me ) after about 10 mins the hubby came back in said my name then just started shaking...his shaking turned into seizure like activity so i ran over ot him and he collapsed onto the floor (still shaking) then passed out ..it turned out the tree had collapsed on top of him cutting him on the head and laserating his back ..blood was everywhere ..he was so lucky not to have died today...so after everything had calmed down i decided to take him out for dinner.. we have never been to a greek restaurant before but today i was just so relieved that he hadn't been seriously hurt i didn't care how much it cost...on a d.f.w note snowball arrived finally (it was a friends teramundi before) so he's had his first meal..oh and i sent the papers away to r.b.s eventually couldn't before as they needed my bank statements...anyway sorry to go on and it's certainly not a reasonable excuse...but i'm back on the wagon tomorrow ..

A meal is the least of your worries. Hope hubby is ok, one meal won't brake the bank but one tree can break a head so look after him x
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

thanks everyone for your support..he's going to be ok just in complete pain his back looks like he has had 20 lashes for crime..and he has a huge lump on his head.. he can't take being touched anywhere near his back or side and i think he has strained a good few muscles..i reckon he passed out from the shock ...but he is going to be fine..he's been really really lucky he could've been pierced by a branch or worse...thanks for your support..it certainly brought the importance of how sacred life can be home to me today

Well I do hope he's OK, and I know it's easy to be wise after the event, but make it a rule: If it weighs more than he does, he gets help whether he likes it or not.

And I hope you're OK as well, that kind of shock isn't good for you...

thanks ozzy fan don't know what it is but these last few days i have been feeling kinda b****r it all i'm gonna be in debt the rest of my life might as well have some fun..i have resisted the urge to spend thankfully ..maybe it's because my figures arn't coming down and i feel like i have been trying hard..i can't complain the weekend away was fantastic and cheap ..we have implemented snowball into the plans ..the hubby is getting more and more on board..and today i had a no spend day even though i went out for a meal at a chinese restuarant (someone else paid yippee) ...but i still feel kinda ugg(not a very good description there can't really think of how to describe how i feel)..does anyone else get that way? i'm still worried about hubby he is in torture covered in bruises and cuts he couldn't even manage to walk yesterday every time he stood up his back caved in ..today he is a wee bit better..maybe i'm just worried about him i... don't know...sorry to go on...hopefully feel more positive tomorrow..
