Global e-rental are really bad. Out of 6 disks all would not play on my computer. Most jumped/skipped on my DVD palyer. Very bad quality disks.
I have found BlockBuser to be the best. Very quick turn around and not disk errors.0 -

I'm using DVD's 365 at the moment and my free trial was due to expire on the 18th (today) and yet they took the £14.99 fee already  .
So for some reason they ended the trial early. The trial did say unlimited but I noticed it said 8 rentals when i was using it. Funny enough I had 9 dvds off them so I wonder if thats why they took the cash.
Anyway I cancelled and they gave me 2 weeks for free so my subscription has cost me £15 now BUT I will have it till 26th June (roughly) then will CANCEL.
Also more importantly I've waiting 3 weeks for Manchurian Candidate
Have to agree ScreenSelect are good and I found Blockbuster and Lovefilm good too :cool:0 -

I couldn't agree more, Global e-rental provide the worst service I have ever had! Not only are they so very slow at sending out the disks (think we only had 8 over the 30 days!) but only one disk actually played the entire way through, the others either skipped and jumped, had sound problems, in the case of X box games they stopped and started and in some cases the disks would not play at all! We also did not recieve one disk which we reported but it was still on our account when it came to the trail ending so we were charged £15.99! I have contacted them and they will be refunding me as soon as they have emailed to say all the disks have been recieved. They had better not mess me around any more cos I am gonna get so angry with them soon!
So not worth the bother.0 -
I have had a free trial at five dvd. They are run by lovefilm.
I have now started a 30 day free trial with lovefilm directly with a code given on here.
I used a different email address and credit card, but the same address.
So it looks like if you change these each time, you can register with all lovefilm offshoots.
One point to note: I have 3 dvds at a timeon my code.
They sent the first one out at 5pm on the first day.
The second out at 7pm on the first day.
The last one the next day.
Dont know why it takes them so long to send them out when I had registered over the weekend. I think they do it deliberately to slow down the dvds you get.0 -
WARNING: Lovefilm/Sainsburys DVD promise an unlimited service, but if you return discs quickly (i.e. the next day or two after receiving them) your service will be downgraded. Various explanations are given for this, but the short of it is that they are not making enough money out of you.
I have been told that ALL of their customers can expect delays of up to FOUR days before another disc is even put in the post. This level of service is abysmal and amounts to bait and switch...misleading customers. Sack them!0 -

I've got a DVD and a PS2 game in the post to me, I'll keep you updated with the quality of it. From the sounds of it I'll be dissapointed though.0 -
Watch out, I tried to re-join lovefilm with another code for 30 day free trial and after I had signed up it stated I had already had a free trial and would be charged if I did not cancel the account within 30 minutes. They base their trials on address so it doesn't matter if you change all your other details!!Cats have 9 lives, we only get 1 so live a little! :rotfl:0

Beware this trial only actually gives you 4 free rentals!! and 30 day code is not valid.ahll wrote:Hi,

There is a section for putting in "Or if you have a promotional
code enter it here:" As far as I can make out TDC4 is for the Free 14 day trial.
Does anyone have a code that would give u longer ?
