That is horrible Kavics, sorry to hear you had to see that and I hope things imrpove for her.

You are right though that it is more important to be healthy and a couple of extra pounds is not the end of the world.

So a quick update... After Cinny mentioned the Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred on her thread I rashly decided that I'd do it in May and I'm 10 days in and lost 2.5lbs in the first week - yay! I know this isn't massive, but I'm eating well and allowing myself the odd treat and just feel loads healthier. The claims are true - my body is definitely changing so I'm hoping to keep up with it for the whole month and see what happens :)

    How's everyone else? x

I really hope my knee is fixed enough to be up to this in August - slim chance I'd guess!

Well done Poodle, good news on changing body. Keep it up! I'm now done to 57 kgs, mainly because I upped my time in the gym, I still go there 5 times a week but instead of staying for 60 min, now I do 90 including a 30 min massive run! I'm well chuffed, tried on my dress for my brother's wedding and it fits perfectly :). Still have one kg to go!

Hi all! I've been MIA for aaaaaggggggeeeees, sorry! I feel like I'm ready to get back into the swing of it now, I really want to go down a dress size and stay there!

I'm starting a 10 week course of Zumba dance classes tomorrow night and I'm trying to eat more healthily. If anyone can point me in the direction of easy, cheap and fast meals that are super good for you, let me know! I'm trying to figure out if I can afford to join the gym right now as money is a little tight, but going for runs/bike rides outside for free is not really my thing as I don't want to be going out on my lonesome which I would be, it isn't so bad being alone in the gym!

I really need to get a new battery for my scales tonight/tomorrow so I can have my official (second) start weight!

How is everyone doing? I'm feeling guilty of eating a lot of dried cranberries, feel really bloated today. I'm doing well exercise wise but not on food, haven't put on weight though. Can't wait till Spain, 6 weeks to go! xxxmust be good, must be good xxx

I'm sort of dieting again, although I know its pretty futile till the exercise can start again.

I got hold of the 30 Day Shred and had a quick scan through it, it looks tough! How long is it? I'll be exhausted after the first 2 minutes!

Last week was a really bad idea to start again as it was my birthday on Saturday which meant lots of pizza, cake and wine! Although I was aching like mad yesterday from playing Just Dance on Saturday night so I wasn't all bad! And I still haven't got a new battery for my scales!
