I just don't have a lot of time for the weak.
That's a very cheap shot.
I haven't bothered to look at your posting history. In 3 posts, I've seen more than enough.

To cut a long story short, i was wrongly accused of fraud in my local abbey/santander branch. Both my accounts were closed (leaving me with no bank account) i was told of the suspect fraud in the public vicinity of the branch (not in a private room) and was told that i was no longer to bank with them. I was highly upset obviously. Later, on the phone...they admitted a serious error had occured on their part and they reinstated my 2 cards and put an amount of money into one of them as a good will gesture (i didnt ask them to or agree to do this...they informed me after they had done this) I will not touch the money and have written a letter to them this morning (finally feel up to it) I am emotionally fragile at the mo and am devastated about this. A solicitor has advised to write first of all but can anyone advise me of anything else i can do. I can send people a copy of the letter if they wish on request. Shall I contact the press? not sure what to do.
Thanks in advance
Natalie
Same thing sorta happened to me but im not emotionally enabled or in bits like yourself,
Sorry there is no emotional price for feelings in businesses and dealing with them,
I presume from your op That the bank throught you had illegal funds in place in your account or someone had asked for money back
(for example if you was not working the dwp had ask for a return on money for some reason, overpayment ect)
My problem was simalar with them but mine was with also with the fraud department,
I opened a new account with a debit card but they blocked my account and made me wait a whole month before i could pay any bills or take money out because they throught it was fraudlengent, its abbey for you they check every account every day, i should know i used to work for them?
What you need to do is not get emotional, Its not your pet dog thats died or someone close to you so no need to get the same about banks, thats just loyality kicking in phycology on your mind "saying to your self why have they done this because you been a customer for xxx.years". We all do sometimes but assert ourself better to pick up the fight,
The customers i used to deal with used to do that all the time thinking i would just break down and give away the banks money or re-instate there account when i could not do it even if i wanted too, even when i worked for telephone companys like orange and 02 it was the same there the same menalilty that if someone get into debt or try and agure about something then demand MORE from me when we switch there services back on or something, just goes to show how emotional people can be when there at a loss, instead of the rest of the country who just say ***k it and get on with it, open up another bank account and just move on
Im glad you have your accounts back but just settle for that, if your unhappy over the service then go seek another bank account or if it was a current account then switch to another bank,(see the term and conditions on your bank to see if you can do that) never stay loyal to a bank and thats from a ex employee of one,

Agreed. Sad and pathetic in the extreme.0 -
Strange how these threads take on a life of their own long after the OP has given up and gone !"The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves, but wiser people so full of doubts."
