Have a look at www.spiceuk.com - its not a dating site but an activities social club. There is a monthly subscription and some of the events are quite expensive...but you can do lots of free/low cost.

You'll meet lots of likeminded people - whether its walks, pubs/meals, activities etc which I found a better way to meet potential dates (I'm engaged to one of them!). Not a current member...and have had some fallouts with the management...but still...its worth a punt (plus they do a money back guarantee!!! so moneysaving...somewhat!)
