  • :oooops, I forgot to update on my progress last week, as I did make a dent in the housework, albeit a small one, which means that I would have achieved more than one star. The trouble is that if I log on to here, I find it hard to switch it off again:rolleyes: so i figured if i stayed away i might get some actual work done, so i got a head start last night on today's list. Thanks all, keep up the brill work,:T

smartie that happens loads, my friend works in a restaurant and they have about 30-40 left a week! Pleased he got it back

Dunelm still no curtains....but I found a perfect style bin :Dhttp://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/8422831/Trail/searchtext%3ERECYCLING.htm just maybe need something a little taller and narrower, possibly not stainless as I hate cleaning stainless steel......but that is just what I need. Found some great in cupboard ones but got few enough of those as it is, will have a clear out this week and see if it's possible to loose 2, if not I'll just have to shuffle a bin around the kitchen. Ooo ooo maybe a bit smaller than I hoped but half price http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/8423799/Trail/searchtext%3ERECYCLING+BIN.htm :D

Edit again http://www.recyclingbinshop.co.uk/Trio60LitreBrushedStainlessSteelKitchenRecyclingBin.htm bin p*rn ooooo
One day I might be more organised...........

Was too tired to post what I'd done yeserday so I'll tell you all now...:D

    TD X 4

    WM X 3

Hoovered front room, stairs and hallway

    emptied kitchen bin

replaced bath mats and binned one ragged one

swept the outside path and swilled it down with hot water

took a car load to the dump and got rid of old cardboard, polystyrene and general bits of rubbish

ditto bag of clothes in recycling

ditton all plastic bottles and glas jars and bottles, have got fed up waiting for the recycling people to do what they should be doing!

Made tea and slowcooked a stew for today

Made a dish I've never done before (personal challenge) and mage Nigella's choccy pud with crunchie on top....DELISH.:D

Went to M & S to use a voucher and managed to get some very nice reduced goodies and also gave out all my extra vouchers to some very pleased shoppers.

Cleared out and partially cleaned my car and found one of my necklaces.:o.

Removed tax disc from old car.

Oh and hubby and DD2 finally put the boxes of christmas decorations back in the loft.:o

Ummm think thats it for Sunday.

Saturday myself and hubby decided to spend a little time together and went out for a meal and then to the pictures to watch Sherlock Holmes, had a lovely evening and a good chat and a laugh.

    Meant to say earlier,

GnB well bluddy done you, hope you've still got tht smile on your face, absolute fantastic results.:T

Toots, ta for mentioning me in your ditty last night, just marching on again with the decluttering. There is, as ever, tons to do.:D

    Welcome to all new flyladies.:hello:

Mudbath and AnWsmum and all those who slipped and fell in the bad weather, I hope you're all recovered now and still not suffering. xxx
