  • Must get cracking - got sidetracked with the PC because it took so long to boot up this morning. Got rid of about 12 unnecessary start-up programmes which were hogging the CPU. Where do they keep coming from???

I'm going to do a frantic 2xHHBlitz from 10:00-11:00. Aim is to get today's cooking in the oven, take down/hang up the washing and do a quick declutter (also clean the loos which is always a Monday job for me, out of habit). Then I'll have a cuppa at 11:00 before starting the kitchen.

Hugs to all on this foggy morning

    smartie congratulations :)

Still on my bin finding mission. Poohbear we have the bins/bags outside, so looking for something for inside but if needs be I will just get 3 bins
Rosep I looked in Ikea they just had little plastic things, but not looked on Lakeland, will in a mo, thanks

Dining room done, kitchen needs a lot of attention however. DPs plans were outside working on his car etc but as it's raining I might get some help in here.....***woooosh*** did you see that piggy flying....I've got my own list a mile long which I won't bore you with as I have it written down. Got a visitor for the DCSF (assistant director for SEN .... I think) coming up on Thursday so need to do a squidge of reading, make sure my national government policy for SEN is up to scratch :o hate the thought of not knowing !!!!!! they are on about.

Right, DP needs shaking out of bed, then I will start on my list after phoning dunelm and a few other calls I need to make. Hope you all have a wonderful day x

:xmastree:Morning everyone, and sorry I'm late - I've added my Christmas tree again, because I didn't see my name on the list for this week (do I need to add it every week??).

I'm totally gutted, that after cleaning ALL week-end (Literally) to catch-up with last weeks list, I've missed out on all 5 stars - as I did finish levels 1-3 every single day! I guess this is my fault, because, apart from defragging and decluttering emails (as per I think Wednesday) I didn't log on over the weekend. Oh well, party in the ceebeeby house because it's clean and should be much easier to keep that way now!!! _party__party_

I'm really looking forward to getting going now - our bags for the charity shop are quite full, and I've even got some bits and bobs to sell (about £30 worth of stuff), so looking forward to some extra pennies just out of old junk lying around!

Happy flying everyone and thanks for letting me through the door again x

We tend to share tips (you're right... we have lots) as and when people ask specific questions, otherwise we'd need yet more posts at the start of the thread so people know where to look. It's one of the reasons the post is more than just a series of HHCs and updated lists - because we share our knowledge, experience and (dare I say it??) expertise.

I think there is an OS cleaning index somewhere, and as Pen Pen is currently mid-HHC and I'm just wasting time finishing my breakfast (I forgot about half of it :o) I'll go and have a look for the link...:D

    ETA - Found it :D

Thanks Greenbee, think I've seen that before but thought it might help newbies :D

I'll join you lemanie, hopefully I'll get the list done.

How did you do embb? In my HHC I; emptied TD, folded and put away clothes, reloaded and sorted washing another load in WM after cleaning drawer and cleaning clearing tops of both. Put all removable oven/cooker bits in DW and put a coat of gloop on oven to soak and am currently deep cleaning the fridge before Mr T gets here so will go and carry on!
