Thank goodness for teenaged boys :T Ds has found a whole load of stuff lurking on my laptop (I thought I'd deleted it, but it was in two places  ). I've now deleted the lot, freed up loads of space, and am now defragging :T Hopefully it won't be so creaky and slow any longer :T

I've had breakfast, so need to get on; HHC 9:15 - 9:45 anyone :D

Hi All, I would like to join in this challenge please. I need to get a bit motivated to sort my house out. I am going to start by trying level 1 for the first few weeks and if I feel like doing anything else from levels 2 and 3, then that will be a bonus. I am a SAHM to 3 kids, the oldest two are at school, and am pregnant with my 4th. I tend to have a big tidy and clean once a week but then am so exhausted I need to sit down for a while. So, I am determined to just do a little bit each day. My other downfall is sitting reading everything on here. I tend to get sidetracked and before you know it, the day has gone and its time to pick the kids up from school!

Welcome back kazw, and welcome to all the newbies.

DW filled and switched on. Breakfast made and eaten.

My new side table for the kitchen is arriving today, so I think I'll work late and put some effort into getting the kitchen ready for the new arrival, including sorting out the stuff that needs to go to the post office (so I can have a walk after my laptop HD and table have finally arrived).

Hello everyone, hope you all had a good weekend and seems like lots of you are raring to go :D

Thanks to Pigpen, Toots and Soappie for all their hard work. Like to second the thanks for excellent lists.

Welcome to all new folks. I was wondering if some general cleaning tips might help (I'm always interested) for new and old alike, the kind of things that involve stardrops and microfibre cloths and canny tricks for cleaning the oven and de-smelling the fridge, cleaning old style, money saving expert style, flylady style (and we have lots of it :D)? Just a suggestion, feel free to ignore me completely....

Mr T is due 10 - 12 so I've got room for a HHC if anyone is up for it? 9.30 - 10.00?

We tend to share tips (you're right... we have lots) as and when people ask specific questions, otherwise we'd need yet more posts at the start of the thread so people know where to look. It's one of the reasons the post is more than just a series of HHCs and updated lists - because we share our knowledge, experience and (dare I say it??) expertise.

I think there is an OS cleaning index somewhere, and as Pen Pen is currently mid-HHC and I'm just wasting time finishing my breakfast (I forgot about half of it :o) I'll go and have a look for the link...:D

    ETA - Found it :D
