I've declutted a glass ofwine, some chocolates and moving onto some leftover stew.

Binned an old pen that siezed up that my nan bought me years ago, then thought why I am keeping this? I have other things that I remember her by

House is fairly decluttered apart from the spare room. I took this month off from serious decluttering after all of last year doing it so I had better get back on board again from Feb.

    Plan is:
Declutter the spare room hotspot corner
    Sell what I can
Chuck out or recycle and be ruthless
    Empty out the shed
    Clear out the cellar

Don't forget!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I need to do it by springtime this year, I said last year I would and did not and need to this year and get the cellar in order for storage and move the TD in there and store the preserves etc and snow and emergency equipment

Piggers - Valli has a feather boa doesn't she?

Can I have my living room star please? Done the bookshelves finally, and got lots of things to ebay - I have decided giving so much to the charity shop is over-generous, and I need the money. I've downloaded turbo lister, need to buy some packaging stuff before I start though!

Rose - good to see you back, xxx

Going to make dinner, love to everyone!

Still at my Mum's after a nice walk with greenbee today - looking forward to the next one, although hopefully we'll find a place where the scones aren't crunchy! lol

Did a bit of flying this morning by wiping the window frames in the bathroom (metal ones that get mildewy quickly) with my face wipe after I'd used it - greenbee what was it that you recommended to clean them with - forgot to ask you on our walk?
I suppose I'd better text you as you've probably gone home by now... but diluted tea tree oil for the window frames.

Suggestions for next walk - either 6th, 7th or 13th Feb, and one of the Winchester walks?

Suppose I should find some supper and have an early night.

greenbee - I haven't got home yet - was distracted by checking emails and reading links off the moneysaving email about amazon discounts. Thanks for the tip about teatree oil. Will have to try that. 13th would be good, as it is the first Saturday of half term, so I won't be feeling guilty about doing school work then either. My Mum should hopefully be able to go again too. I'll pm you my email address too so that it's easier to stay in touch.

As you can see I was very productive at the start of the week but less so at the end!!

    Eeeek

What have I done? I've only just agreed to do TWO talks on the history of my town. I must be mad in my exhaustion....

    Eeeek

Two very different organisations - one a small group of elderly women pensioners, another a much larger group of people of a wide age range.

Both want me to do about 45 minutes worth!

First one is in the middle of March. The other is in June.

Given the localities and the nature of the audience, I can't really present the same thing. The first one will be better if it's really local to the area given the nature of the audience. The other would be better to be more broad.

Trust me to open my big mouth when discussing my local history passion at cordons at a fire scene!

Anyone done this sort of thing before and can give me pointers? I am accustomed to public speaking, but usually of a v. short and succinct 5 mins worth at the town hall!

ETA - the pointers I need are things like how many slides are generally needed 45 minutes? Do I create 10 slides and talk on each one for about 4 minutes, or do I do 20 slides and talk on each one for two minutes?

    HELP!!!!
