    Afternoon all.

    ~yawn~

I am sooo tired today. Didn't wake up until 9.40 which is most unlike me and I can hardly keep my eyes open this afternoon. Consequently, I'm having an extremely quiet day doing very little. Though I have pulled my finger and research out and will work on some writing for a bit now.

Had a lovely afternoon relaxing watching the tennis highlights and making a brithday and Mother's Day card. Both turned out nice and hoping mum likes them. The other card I made can be used for Easter. All have nice bright flowers on them ready for spring time.

Can tick this off my list at last and better go and walk Mr Dog while it is still light and then get tucked in for the rest of the day! Think I'll tackle the kitchen list today too and sweep and mop both floors remaining leaving just a little list for tomorrow

Rightio, I've swept the path in the back garden.

Cleaned out the chicken house, given them fresh straw and bedding insdie and out as its very muddy in their run.

Plonked old straw in compost and restocked their food and grit.

Also just put the TD on.

Off to put another wash on and change my shoes....not a good idea to be splodging around in mud with Uggs on.:o:rotfl:

Just come over all domesticated and made yummy banana and choc chip muffins with some over-ripe bananas and also lemon drizzle cake. The kitchen smells gorjus ;) so I hope DH is impressed when he gets home in 30 mins or so!

Had a nice surprise as took the kids to Clarks who said they are fine in their current shoes so I don't need to spend a lot of money right now (phew ... wipes sweat from brow!) DS will need to be checked again in 4 weeks or so, but DD is fine for a good while. That's why I like Clarks as they'll always check and won't lie to you; I'm happier having someone who knows what they're doing checking their shoe fit than me.

Triker and Jinky, wow ladies you HAVE been busy! Put me to shame :o. I try to work hard during the week so I don't have to do anything much on the weekend :)

Going to crash out on the sofa with DS and watch his Wallace & Gromit DVD now - perfect way to spend the afternoon methinks.

    Afternoon ladies

Not much flying today as DD's friend came round not long after I was up (late again :p) and her mum stayed a while telling me how she is now going through an acrimonious split with her husband. Then my ex best mate rang and came round for a coffee and a chat. Only seems to come now when she has some news - like holiday next month and her man bought her another new car for Christmas only a sports car this time. She's only known him for about 2 years and he's already bought her a house to live in, another new car and numerous holidays. Didnt have the heart to tell her I gave up on the friendship ages ago as she doesnt seem to need us now, unlike when her daughter used to phone me up in the middle of the night as she'd be pi55ed, fallen and cut her head etc. Sorry wasnt meant to be a rant.

Have only done some washing, dried and folded it and done the washing up. Nice chilled day though.

I think we must be twins! We haven't used our caravan as much as we should either but I love the fact that we can go where we want and do what we want. Before it turns a wheel each year it' £600  But then the site we stopped on in high season was costing £18ish per night for 3 of us
Thats VERY reasonable pitch fees, the ones we usually stay on are £20 - £30 a night
Toots - what's all this about a hospital bag?
I noticed that too but toots has already answered it

castrio09 - welcome to the mad house

jinky - you ill or something !!!

hugs to everyone who needs on

Think I might go online and book our April long weekend in the caravan before I change my mind about it !!! Any recommendations for good caravan sites would be appreciated then I can try and encourage DH to take time off work so we can go.

Back later this evening as he is at work again.
Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!
