  • my last yellow post...
got very sidetracked by phonecalls tonight but they were all lovely especially with the lovely AnW'sMum xx

Hex that is so kind of the family - what a pity the man's research has gone missing - I am excited for you - I think its brilliant but then I like old buildings.
1 step have a hug for your not so nice news and I do hope you can resolve the problem
soappie I know you will be doing a far better job than any ordinary cleaner - and because she is NN too - you sound like you are enjoying getting to grips with her place:A
toochoosey thats lovely news to share - congratulations to your SS and you Auntie:T
sabs10 more lovely news - how wonderful for you - what a lovely friend you are and yes cleaning her kitchen would count for a star - I am sure she will be over the moon with it and the cooking too. :Acongratulations to your friend and do you become an honorary auntie?
pigpen excellent news (the divorce bill not the rabbits!!:rotfl:)
kazmeister no problem! WELL DONE TO HER:T

    gotnodosh
have a big squishy hug for being so brave at the dentist - I hope the pain doesnt keep you awake tonight - parrots before bed I think (parrots = paracetamols:D)

Sunnygirl awh thats lovely - how exciting for DD when she finds out
Nopot2pin thank goodness you are feeling better - it sounded dreadful and you too toochoosey - get well vibes for you both xx
rosepink its true what the others say we are here to support everyone - you need to do what feels best for you- if they get to the bottom of your current health problem then it should help you deal with your depression - activity/exercise (housework) is one of the best known remedies for depression so perhaps a bit of flying would be beneficial instead of shutting yourself away and doing nothing - you will only get more depressed looking at the state of the place and it will be much more beneficial to your health to get rid of the mess/clutter/ mould etc .
Dusty oooooooooooh thats not like you to be screeching at all the males in your house - things must be bad - hugs and soothing vibes for your poor throat.
lil_me huge (((hug)) for you as its not easy to admit that you could be living beyond your means - that takes guts honey. what about renting a tourer or on site caravan when you want to go? then you wouldnt have the all year expenses? 2.5 years is a long time to be struggling and what if Dh was not well for any reason and couldnt work you would be worrying sick about money. I now how much you love going and I always envy you when I hear you saying you are on-site for the weekend - it is a quiet time but its a good time for reflection and doing the sums. xx
Greenbee hope you all have a great walk and a good day together.

off to do a round up of stars and update my list then bed
    toots xx
    Peace will be mine

Lil_me....do you use the same site for the season?

(Am asking this non-flying Q. as surely this is the weekend, so can chat????)
No we did mainly 11 night blocks last year, away Sunday to week Thursday, DP came home the weekend in the middle for work (he usually does Thurs-Sat) I stayed with the boys wherever we were for the weekend. Over autumn it went on a short seasonal which was £199 from 1st Sept (last week hols) to 31st Oct (end of half term)

toots, I'll cost up having an alternative holiday when I do the 'options', good suggestion just lost track of costs for those things now

Think I'm going to go phone DP then bed, might get some of my plan done too, night night everyone xx
One day I might be more organised...........
    GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb

Blimey is that the time! I should get to bed.
Been comparing electricity/gas prices. Can I ask - how many of you pay your's by monthly DD? Is anyone on one of the tied in tariffs?

We pay ours on monthly DD, have done for years, I always review it myself and argue the toss if I think they are trying to pull a fast one ;) Need to know uages though to argue successfully. HTH

hugs lilme - I know what you mean about the caravan! Especially as ours hasnt been out since beginning of July.

As for sorting the house, I've been saying that and it'll be 10 years here this Dec!!!

I think we must be twins! We haven't used our caravan as much as we should either but I love the fact that we can go where we want and do what we want. Before it turns a wheel each year it' £600  But then the site we stopped on in high season was costing £18ish per night for 3 of us.

And as for the house :o dot2dotting is the only way it's going to get done here! Plus The Godfather is visiting next w/end :eek: It's our usual birthday/Christmas catch up and falls on W's birthday :D

I really must go to bed now.

Thanks again everyone for the support today (ok yesterday!) in fact make that the support we get every day by being part of this group.

    Night night xx

    Morning lovely flyladies,
AnWsmum - Was a privilege to be part of yellow day and gave me a good excuse to have a good cry, so thank you.
Poppy hon - Well Treacle Pudding the cat HS3298.gif was not toooo impressed with the beef one, but having read the thread over in the pets section, it was the least favourite of an awful lot of cats so I am not going to give up. I will give it to the neighbours and try another flavour with Tweaky Puds
Rosepink - kiss.gif You are very loved on this thread and I know everyone worries about you when you are under the weather, so keep posting and talking to us as it can only help! As for the rest - Toots said it all.
    Jinkypinks - love.gif
    Toots - hugs.gif
Pigpen - congrats on the free divorce!
Lady-L - Lovely to talk to you as ever.smooch.gif
    1 step - hugs hon hugs.gif
nopot2pin - so glad you are feeling better, can't have a poorly stalker now can I?
Toochoosey - congrats on your new niece
Sabs - I was with my sister when my youngest nephew was born. My mother was her birth partner and I was there to keep the eldest nephew occupied really but we managed to get back into the room just as he was slithering out. Was amazing.

thankyou.gif for your continued thoughts and prayers for Tris and Michelle. Tris is still in pain and Michelle has not had any more periods of conciousness and they are very worried about her.

    Off to find a list.
