Evening all, thats me back from WI and had my HM beefburgers for tea (thanks to oh)
I lost 1lb. Im quite chuffed but feel I didnt deserve to lose as I was a pig last night.
Anyway going to try superhard this week and aim for another 1-2lb loss.
There no point in me paying almost a fiver everyweek for someone to tell me I havnt lost anything or worse ive gained.
Thanks for all the words of support. Before I went in tonight Id decided Id stay no matter what the scales said.

A bit like SW it's about change of habits & the way we think about food rather than follwoing any particular diet (though SW is definately the way to go!)

Welldone Carla thats fantastic to get your 1/2 stone. I have been following your progress cos we both wi on Wed and I also started back on the plan on the same days as you since xmas. So far ive only lost 4lb so well done again.:j

Good morning everyone! I'm online all day but can't get online in the evenings much (teenagers!!) - but I'm really enjoying the thread - it's very encouraging to see weight losses (I don't call 1 lb a small loss!! it's not a gain!) :T it's also really good for me to see what people are eating - it's giving me great ideas and also making me understand the programme better.
Yesterday went like this:
B: 2 weetabix with some skimmed milk (HEA and HEB - the rest of the milk went on cups of tea during the day)
S: ML and frooot
L: plain jacket pot with a ham salad (it was yummy - I was worried I'd miss the butter I normally would slather on the spud!)
S: MLthis is where things got out of hand - I didn't have time for dinner and to tell the truth I didn't feel hungry - I did however have 2 small glasses of wine watching the match later with hubby!!)
I'm aiming for extra easy - I'm super busy this eveing too so I need ideas of what can be made for dinner on the run (we're working till 5.30, I've got a spinning class at 6.00 for 45 mins then we have this church thing at 7.45 for a couple of hours - busy busy busy!!)0 -
Well done on all the great losses!! I got weighed this morning and have lost 4.4lbs since last Weds :jalthough have only been following the plan since Saturday, if that makes sense, so pleased with that. Another red day today:
B: All Bran (HEB) and milk (HEA), sugar (2 syns)
L: Leftover ham and mushroom quiche, broccoli, bit of BNS, banana
T: Chicken wrapped in bacon with LCL and garlic filling (1.5 syns), with jacket potato (HEB) and carrots, roast peppers, courgette and onion
S: Probs lemon cheesecake ML (1 syn) and mini twix (5 syns)

Hi Goodmorning to everyone. I dont post much more of a lurker but i am here everyday reading.
I have just been to my third WI and I am a bit dissapointed. first week 3 and a half lb second week 1 and a half lb third week just a half lb. I am following the plan 100% so cant fully understand why its getting lower everyweek. i realise the first week is usually a good loss but will there be a good reason why its gone so low.
I try not to use syns and have been told that might be a reason for not losing I try to keep it at approx 6 syns and 4 of them are usually a glass of brandy at night I can live without chocolate but I like a Brandy at night.
I am not thinking of giving up I have lots to use and health reason are the reason I need to lose weight.
Any ideas please

I need some help (surprise surprise!!) with the sw website. I cant work out how to keep my food diary online, so I thought I would record it in my journal, but now I cant find the journal, I am such a dumb dumb arent 1.
Having had two bads weeks and gaining 2.5lbs I thought I must write everything down, so I cant add what i did yesterday, its so annoying.
My day wasnt as good as I planned, I forgot my lunch but had a couple of mugshots in my drawer, 1 was 1% and the other 3% fat. So synned there! dont know how many! Was still hungry had a baked potato and beans so free.
Then given a piece of tiffin 10 syns
Was given a fairy cake so 5 syns there
then had two chicken legs with my sw chips.
today I have only had boiled rice with ml rasp and banana
and a banana mid morning.
I feel I need to be hand held through this diet cos I am not going to make it, otherwise...
I should say my day was predominantly green0 -

when you go onto the site you can click on food diary at the top right of the page, when you open it there is a drop down list that says today, if you cllick on the arrow it shows you previous days. Not sure where you are going wrong im afraid.
I prefer to write everything down on paper as its easier to write as I go rather than waiting and trying to remember everything ive eaten.
I think the 3% mugshot is 2 syns, not sure which one you had though. So if you count up your syns and are aiming to have 15 a day, then youve only went over by 3 or so, thats not too bad. You can easily have less tomorrow.
your day does look green if you used your heb for the chicken. Was the skin of the drumsticks? Its those little things that could add up and gain.
I know yesterday was difficult as you forgot your lunch but try and have both healthy extras (all 4 if you do green), eat loads of fresh veg and salad with tea or lunch and drink plenty of water.
if your unsure post your whole days menu at the end of each day and someone might notice something wrong.
Your doing fine, its just a case of being super organised for SW to work. Planning meals and having plenty of the right foods in. Making pasta salads etc the night before, bulk cooking and freezing meals so they are quick.:santa2::xmastree::santa2:0 -

Annie it sounds at your losing at a good steady pace. Its hard not to be disappointed with 1lb loss when sometimes you get 2-3, I know I do. But if you hold up a bag of sugar and realise thats whats gone from your body, you realise that any loss is good.
You really should try and use most of your syns over the week. Why not have 2 brandies if thats what you fancy, or a small packet of crisps with it, or simply use it in sauces and gravy. That way you are not depriving yourself of treats and less likely to go off plan.
Just keeping eating your healthy extras, loads of free foods and superfree foods, drink plenty of water and you will keep on losing. If it goes to fast you might end up with loose skin and you dont want that.:santa2::xmastree::santa2:0
