SS foods are pretty much all the fruit & veg that are free on a red day (as some of the green veg only aren't ss)

  • Aargh! Went shopping yesterday and tried to get some Mullerlights - they didn't have them at the Morrisons I went to but they had some in their place from Nom Dairy. Have been eating these, thinking they're just the same as Mullerlights but thought I'd check the Syns and they're 1.5/2 Syns each depending on the flavour!!!

    Oops :(

Luckily I had a really low Syn day earlier in the week so I'm using flexible Syns until WI tomorrow. Really annoyed though - they're 0% fat but still Synful :(

  • Morning all

I wore my Skechers Shape Ups all day yesterday - walked to and from work (45mins), all day in work (mainly desk bound) and round the shops in the evening (say 30mins). I woke up this morning and my muscles felt like they do the morning after the gym! :rotfl: It was not just my legs, it was my back and shoulders too. They help your posture so I assume they ached because of that. I walked to work today but didn't wear them as I'm going to try every other day whilst I get used to them. Plus I have Toning class tonight. My friend isn't going so I could easily have pulled out but I'm going to go on my own! :j

    Green day:

B - shreddies with skimmed milk (HEA and HEB)
L - salad with couscous, falafels (1syn) and LF coleslaw (2syns), muller light
D - stuffed pepper (free), HM cheesey mash (HEA) with LF marg (2syns), cauliflower, carrots.
Snacks - fruit, HB egg, 2 x alpen light (HEB)

    Have a good day all

    x

when you join you get a pack with a food optimising book that tells you about the plans including EE and a seperate book with recipes and meal plans for EE.
Even if you can make it for one class to get the pack, get weighed and hear what the consultant has to say would be good. It would cost a lot to get them off Ebay, unless you have a friend who can give you them. But going and hearing the proper expanation of the plan is vital in my opinion. It would cost you £9.95 for that first week. Probably still cheaper than ebay.

you can also join the online class, I think its a bit more expensive than going to class itself, but at least it will give you an aim and all the info you need.

And of course your welcome to ask us :D

  • Yesterday i was off work, feeling really sick so didn't really fancy sticking to the diet

So this was what i had yesterday.

B: 2 x ww wholemeal bread with marg
S: 2 x ww wholemeal bread with cheese as a toastie
L: 2 x ww wholemeal bread with cheese as a sandwich with cheese and onion crisps
    S: Smoky bacon crisps
D: Chinese as was craving it

Back on the diet today though

    B: Mullerlight, Hifi Bar (6syns)

  • Yesterday didn't work out to be a particularly good day.

Turns out blue cheese is not a HEA :( I tend to just assume that all cheese falls under this. Anyway I ate the 25g portion I had bought with 2 oatcakes. Which can't count as a HEB either :o And this was on top of a finger of fudge and a COU mousse. So prob a bit over synned yesterday :o though I did have a good long walk.

Anyway swim this mornign and will deffo manage an hours walk by hook or by crook.

No eating plan for today except that i will have bean chilli for either lunch or dinner since it's out of the freezer. And prob pasta and tom sauce for the other meal. Need to come up with some more freezable SW friendly meals soon - freezer is nearly run down and I'm getting sick of bean chilli!

Hello, can I join you on the thread please.

I'm following slimming world online as I'm not near a group and started in earnest yesterday (have done the plan before but the EE is all new to me).
I'm also going to an exercise class twice a week too which I hope will help.

I'm using some magazines to get recipes from and following their week's plan, which makes it easier at the beginning I think.

    yesterday I ate:
    B. 2 eggs, 2 slices WM toast (no butter).
L: SW Shepherds pie (free), Weight watchers yogurt (free) branston pickle (2 syns)
D: Salad, lentil and veg soup ( yeuk)

Snaxk: hot chestnuts, 4 syns and a biscuit 4.5 syns.

    Today I had
    B: 2 weetabix. milk sugar (2 syns)
L: Gammon potato and mango salsa plus avacado (2,5 syns) fruit quark (1.5 syns)
D out to dinner so we'll see.

Hoping to do a twenty minute stretch on the bike this afternoon!
    Trying to keep in budget.

  • Could someone kindly check the syns in a 25g packet of Cadbury's Animals (the choc covered biscuit things)?

    Thanks
