I've just had a gorgeous chickpea and quorn curry for dinner, OH didn't fancy anything as he has a dodgy tummy (poor guy!) so I dabbled in the kitchen for myself.

I made enough for two portions and scoffed the lot! good job it was free lol :)

This sounds lovely, is it a sw recipe?

Well they are the lowest crispy type snacks so not too bad. You could also make up some sugar free jelly (pack divided by 4 is 0.5syns each) - add fruit for your speed food ;)
Carrot sticks and dip made with quark?
Fruit salad with meringue nest (3syns) covered with yoghurt?
    Frozen grapes?
Frozen yoghurt (especially Onken 0%) makes good icecream.

I love the sound of them Brighton Belle - but I couldn't have a jar of nutella in the house - otherwise they still wouldn't get made and I'd sit there with a teaspoon & the jar! :o

snap although I would add breadsticks into the mix :) nutella is the crack cocaine of the chocolate world as far as I'm concerned.

No I made it up! I just used what we had in the fridge and the cupboard and bunged some rice and fromage frais on top!

First week on the SW diet but I need to write things down!!

    B: Banana and strawberries
L: Rice and home made Lentil Dahl
T: Veg Stew with 2 teaspoons gravey granules (Not sure how many Syns)

    Milk HeA
    2 ww bread HeB

1 packet of ww cheese bites
1 packet of wwcheese puffs....anybody know how many syns these are?

Does this above sound ok for the SW diet??

Oh and now fancy a ww yogurt, I believe they are free?

May I suggest that you have more filling meals and then you wouldn't need the snacks as much.

For instance, just having fruit for breakfast won't fill you for very long, but if you had it with a MullerLight and perhaps 28gms some fibre-filled cereal (Weetabix, Shreddies etc) it would be much more satisfying.

For dinner you could have had a jacket potato with your stew (unless it already has lots of potato in it) or maybe a side salad to go with it.

Obviously I don't know what size portions you have, but what you listed above wouldn't fill me and that may be why you feel the need to have several snacks a day. Have a look at the website for recipes :)

    PS: WW yoghurts are free
I let my mind wander and it never came back!

I had an at home WI today too and am now officially overweight rather than obese (yay!!) and the lightest I've been in over 2 years so I'm feeling pretty pleased with myself :) And it is lovely and sunny in Belfast today too. Got a meeting in town later and hoping to take the scenic route in if I can get away in reasonable time. Hope everyone else has a happy Monday!

Thats a great feeling isn't it. I had that at last week's home WI. Feels good to have a BMI under 30 :j
