Hi all, I've been for a 10mile walk today! Normally when I do a long walk I decide I can get away with eating what I like but today, for the 1st time ever, I stuck to the plan :-) hope it pays off!!
Breakfast - the breakfast rice recipe I found on here, thanks to whoever posted it it's fab!!!
Lunch - pasta and turkey ham salad with lots of tomatoes, carrots, onions, cucumber and sweetcorn mixed in and a pear.
Snack - a little bit extra of the pasta salad, was starving after my walk!
Tea - going to OH's parents. Apparently we're having 'salad' which will be loads of meat and potatoes with a few tomatoes and a bit of cucumber! Some people's idea of salads is very strange!!! I've asked for fruit for my pudding as it's usually something naughty and I want to be good!!
I asked this a few pages back but I think it must have got lost, I read a comment about some sausages that are free on red days, which ones are they?
Thanks x0 -

Hi Lisa - the rice recipe was mine so thanks for that:o:D, and the free sausages are the ones from Morrisons chiller cabinet - not frozen. Not sure what they are called but it is their version of the "healthy eating" ones. Tesco healthy eating sausages are only 1/2 sin each by the way or of course the quorn ones are free!
Marion:)When life hands you lemons, ask for tequilla and salt and give me a call!!!0 -
Hi could anybody give my oh some ideas on what to put in his packed lunch on EE. He is a truck driver and did this diet last week and lost 4lb so he is well chuffed. He would prefer free foods.
Thanks hope somebody has some ideas so he doesn't get bored!!0 -

Pasta salad? Cooked pasta with tuna and sweet corn added. A tablespoon of salad cream mixed with a tablespoon of lemon juice mixed through (syn the salad cream) - you can make a huge bowl of this - add any thing else to the mix that you fancy! You can make it the night before and let it chill overnight in the fridge - can be served in a wide mouthed flask if there is no fridge where he works. When life hands you lemons, ask for tequilla and salt and give me a call!!!0 -

Hi All
Can I join you? Starting my Slimming World diet tomorrow - already got some yummies lined up!
I looked at the weight chart thingy, and it seems i need to lose 3st, and that's just to be overweight. I followed atkins a few years back and lost that much, but i don't have the mynadd (any welsh peeps in?) for that anymore.
I've been through the book and made lists of the stuff that i like in each category, and for this first week i'm going to follow the sample menu on the SW website.
So that's me! Any hints and tips that I need to know / remember? Anything i should avoid like the plague?
