I need to be good because I am out with my best mate on friday for a drink or 4 thought if I had vodka and slimline tonic that would be better than wine . Any ideas how many syns for vodka?
Am on a mission
Good for youVodka is 2½ syns for 25mls or 4 syns for 35mls dependsing on the pub measure, either way, much better than wine as long as you have plenty of synless mixer with it to make it into a fairly long drink.
Fresh fruit salad would be free. The Options I ususally get from Asda but I haven't bought any in a while as I buy in bulk when they're on offer as a rule. I hope they haven't stopped doing themI let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -
Im on Cerazette & have an appt with the doc so I can change it, I totally hate it, changed me totally, so many mood swind, feeling really low which makes me wanna eat, then i put on weight & then i get more down! I had lost over 2 stone with SW, stopped going about 4 weeks ago & im too scared to get on the scales now! Very disapointed as it took a lot to lose the 2 stone & now im gonna have to try & do it again!
I would not reccomend Cerazette to anyone tho.

also can I ask you if I have a fruit salad from marks ect is it free? I have it in my mind that it is not thanks x x
yes all fruit salads are free. I got some great ones from Costco!0 -
Well already this morning I've had a Asda pot noodle (6.5) and a pack of french fries (4.5) and not much syn free stuff in. Got pasta, noodles but no sauces to go on them. I've got a couple of pound left until next week  so think I'll take a walk to Morrisons, I think some of the fruit and veg is 30p there and I'm sure I can get some cheap tinned toms, plus the exercise will do me good.
Well done on all the losses, your all doing so well :T:T:T0 -

It's inclined to make people do one of two things:- either they show a gain which leads you to think "well sod it I've worked so hard, got a gain, I'm having pizza for lunch!" or the scales show a loss in which case some people think "yay I've lost, I can afford to have pizza for lunch" :rotfl:
Wear roughly the same clothes and get weighed on the same day, at the same time each week for the truest picture. If you're very strong-willed, it's even better if you can ignore the small picture and take notice of the weight-loss over 3 or 4 weeks - that's how to really see what you're achieving (but I can't do that myself)
Thanks consultant, but I'm kinda ok weighing myself at home I like to know what to expect, I'd just do it once a week normally, in the morning, coz one week I'd stuck to plan thought I was going to have a couple lb loss and actually gained 0.5lb which knocked me right off track (the not expecting it is what I can't handle). So i really prefer to know, it's just disheartening when I've been on track. Incidentally I put 0.5lb on this morning at WI, but have stuck to plan, and had that one flexi syn day of 32.5, which really shouldn't make me gain when I'm being sensible with portions etc the rest of the time. I'm off to London this weekend for a 40th bday on the saturday night, so don't know how I'll do then, seeing my boyfriend so we usually have a couple of meals out, I'll make the lighter choices, but it will definitely be a flexi syn weekend. I have a set of clothes that I wear every week to WI so that doubt doesn't creep into my mind that way....(is it my heavy trousers) that kinda thing :rotfl: I would usually think ah well it might balance out over the 2 weeks, but with the weekend looking like it will be a bit off I don't think that'll be the case.
The thing that may be affecting my loss is that i'm spending a lot of time sitting around at my computer, doing NO exercise whatsoever, not even a walk to the bus stop, I'm in final year at uni, and it's a very hectic course, so I'm either in uni doing something at a desk, or at home doing something at my computer, (and take the car inbetween the two).0lbs/18lbs to get to club 100 -

barmycow,
I like the Finn Crisp. they are very, very crunchy much crunchier than ryvita. Best served with quite a 'wet' topping.0 -
