(Early) Morning all
Following on from my unexplained gain last week, I have been carefully writing everything down just to try and focus my mind and something for my consultant to check in case of a further slide into heffer-territory !:o
So thrilled that I lost 3.5 especially as I was sure i was going to gain and was having a "fat day".:j
We were all asked what a typical days meals might be - just to give ideas and inspiration to others and there was lots of interest in Marion's rice - so I am spreading the word on your behalf.:T
Well done to all you losers and big hugs and encouragement to gainers and STS - I understand only too well how frustrating it can be but stick with it and come back here for support and a kick up the bum if you need it.
Just a note on the wholemeal crackerbread - I cannot find any of this in any supermarket in Lincoln ! And I have sent all my scouts out on the hunt - will have to try for those Finns crispbreads - anyone know what they are like ?I was going to take over the world but got distracted by something sparkly.......0 -
Welldone to the losers.:T:T
I also lost 2.5lbs last night.I think thats the result of being ill and not really eating for almost a week. Im trying to eat sensibly and not pile it back on.
Were going to a caravan for 4 days at Easter, im trying to plan now what we will be eating so we dont end up eating out and unhealthy snacking. Im not sure what the cooking facilites will be like, im hoping theres a microwave so I can take homemade frozen meals and pop them in the fridge when we get there, some pasta n sauces then just cold meat salads. Any suggestions?:santa2::xmastree::santa2:0 -

i havent been on since satursay. it goes to show ya, when im not here, im benig naughty. have you all read/heard this "Mrs Ivy-been-very-good" poem!? It sums my past week up doen to a tee. Although I went to class last night and lost 1.5lb, so was pleasantly shocked!!

Congrats on the 3.5lb weight loss :T:T
I mentioned before that Ocado online do the wholegrain crackerbread so maybe waitrose do it too as they are supposedly one and the same.
According to this link
http://www.ryvita.co.uk/products/crackerbread/wholegrain-crackerbread they are available everywhere  If only................0 -
WI tomorrow, but according the the home scales I've lost nothing...may have even gained 1lb, now I've wrote everything down this weekend, and have stuck to it, haven't been overeating, but have had enough, so i'm going to be v downhearted if I've lost nothing/gained this week. Factored in a flexi syn evening on saturday for wine (had 32.5 syns that day) and have been having about 5 less a day since to make up for it. Blagh.
I honestly suggest that you hide your home scales in the loft or somewhere you can't get at them. I have my SW group scales in the house, but only ever get weighed on weigh-in day because what the scales say on other days is often very misleading.
It's inclined to make people do one of two things:- either they show a gain which leads you to think "well sod it I've worked so hard, got a gain, I'm having pizza for lunch!" or the scales show a loss in which case some people think "yay I've lost, I can afford to have pizza for lunch" :rotfl:
Wear roughly the same clothes and get weighed on the same day, at the same time each week for the truest picture. If you're very strong-willed, it's even better if you can ignore the small picture and take notice of the weight-loss over 3 or 4 weeks - that's how to really see what you're achieving (but I can't do that myself)
I let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -
Well done Sagaris and all the other losers! I maintained this week, no suprise, infact it was a suprise that i hadn't gained! Have felt really hungry and unmotivated the last week, so it has been a struggle to optimise at all! Have been good so far today, although i am having chocolate cravings..which is not good! Stay motivated everyone x
For chocolate cravings, I have Options hot chocolate drinks in the Turkish Delight flavour. It's yummy but so sweet it really helps get youpast the worst of the 'wanting'.
I'm told that an Options stirred into Greek yoghurt is nice and chocolatey too, though I love the lemon curd stirred in way too much to try anything else.I let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -
I was doing ok after my weekend splurge and then yesterday it all went belly up
Breakfast - cheesey scrambled (HE) eggs, baked beans,
Snack - Pretzels (5.5 syns)
Lunch - sandwiches - ham cheese (whoops forgot the breakie cheese) cucumber and beetroot !/2 a pack of crisps (4 syns)
Had the munchies so had 3 mullers through the day and then........
OH had a mystery shopper thing with KFC and rought home a family feast. I did limit the number of chips and the 3 chicken fillets i ha I did strip of the coating (that killed me) and I ate the beans oh well today is another day.
I need to be good because I am out with my best mate on friday for a drink or 4 thought if I had vodka and slimline tonic that would be better than wine . Any ideas how many syns for vodka?
Today
Breakfast - weetabix and milk and a fresh fruit salad
Lunch ??????? have to go to town promised baby he could go on a train

Did a mystery shop tonight at a restaurant - beef chilli nachos, pizza & waffle with toffee sauce & ice-cream plus wine....see what i mean?! Ah well.
C xx
I mystery shop too, but gave up the foody ones for just this reason - who in their right minds will turn down tasty food when it's free and you get paid to eat it :rotfl:..........there's no way I'd lose weight if I still did that.I let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -
