  • Ooh just noticed new thread!

I've been off having a nice break in London but back to the grindstone now. WI tonight and I'm hoping for no gain which I might manage. I do tend to be bloated for a few days after flying though so we'll see. And of course I ate and drank too much when I was away and got very little exercise...just trying to get back to doing proper SW but as of today another fresh start. Just need to do some healthy shopping but have been putting it off since I'm feeling a bit vulnerable to eating the wrong things and I'm not sure that being in a supermarket will help!

Hope everyone else is doing ok.

I agree with Marion and always have my healthy extras. It does say though if having green/red you canchoose to have 1-2 healthy extras, so you could just have 1 hea and 1heb on a green day. But if doing EE I wouldnt miss them out especially to get a decent fibre intake.

Hi all - need a bit of advice please..

I have had a few EE days recently and I quite like the plan but am not quite sure if and what I should eat between meals.

Is it right that I should have 3 meals a day with as much free food red or green at meal times as I want, but only fruit inbetween meals? So no grazing on say pasta or cooked meat between meals?

I think perhaps I'm eating too much on EE days and there may be more restrictions than I think!
August Shopping Challenge. 26/8. Budget £250 Spent £256.81.. £6.81 over. So £0.00 a day left.

In between meals you can still have stuff that is free on red and green. I quite often have a mug shot or some SW chips if its a while to dinner, or I have a yoghurt, and yes you can have have cooked meat or a little pasta salad.
Obviously if you have superfree foods inbetween then it will speed up your weight loss. But if its free, then its free so go ahead and eat.
You do feel like you eat loads, but if your eating the right things it will stop you reaching for the naughty things. hth

Gosh I eat loads between meals!!

I have breakfast and then snack on fruit til lunch. Lunch is normally salad with pasta/rice/pots etc and yogurt. Then I'll snack on more fruit and manybe hard boiled egg in afternoon. If I'm making dinner when I get in then I just eat that, but if I've got a few hours before dinner then I'll maybe have a bit of cheese (HEA) or a hard boiled egg whilst I'm waiting! :rotfl:

There are loads of free snacky foods like the mugshots or pasta n sauce. SW chips are great, but I sometimes find it a hassle to peel, chop and cook them when I want an instant snack! I loved hard boiled eggs. I boil up 4 at a time, eat one or 2 a day. Plus fruit and veg!
