Well, went to WI today and in my first week I lost 4lb!:j:j

Dad lost 6lb but the consultant said that men find it easier to lose than women. I was so amazed, at image therapy we'd managed to lose a combined 102lb between the two groups (our hall is tiny so we have an early group and a late group).

Hoping to stay on track for next week, so going to get stuck into meal planning, packed lunches and lay off the crumble on Sunday nights. I need to search SW online and make some low-syn cakes to snack on instead.

Bought the pudding rice as well so next time I get a free minute I'm going to make that syn free rice pudding with a vanilla ML and some splenda to get as close to regular rice pudding as possible.
weldone to you and your dad , thats a great loss :T:T

Meant to ask, has anyone got the branded freebies book that lists all the syn free branded food? I'd like to know if it's any good before buying a copy, would be handy to have so that i know what quick foods to keep in the cupboard for lazy days.

Thinking of making a chilli quorn lasagne tomorrow ,
making chilli and laying pasta sheet on top .
Then adding quark with garlic & herb phili light thats been left overnight

little water added to make it more like a sauce .

Then add pasta sheet , then chilli ,then sauce , then pasta and then sauce & greated cheese on top ( h/a )

COOK IN OVEN UNTIL GOLDEN BROWN .
Nice with salad and jacket or s/w chips :D

  • butterbeans.jpgclear.gifButter beans
Native to South America, these large plump cream beans are similar in shape to broad beans. These low-fat beans are available fresh, dried, canned or frozen, and are a good protein provider. They are also a good source of iron, dietary fibre, potassium pyridoxine and thiamin. (pop-up windows)
