Don't forget that not all burgers & sausages are free (IIRC!) - some have syns so choose wisely ;)
Will defiantely be stocking up on the pieces & mince for curry & chilli's though!

Peachy - quorn isn't superspeed - they're just speed. And they're not superfree now either due to the changes on EE!
thanks catt , still good to get the weight moving .

Bums. I didn't have a healthy extra "b" today. Is that bad? Better planning tomorrow methinks!

emmas - it doesn't matter occasionally but they are needed for a balanced diet. Sometimes I just can't fit mine in and if I don't want bars/snack in the evening it goes unused, but I do love my chocolate as a HEb!

Congratulations Smegs. lovely news. :j congratulations

I weighed in tonight for the first time this year (was sick last two weeks)

It was nice to stay to image therapy which I have missed. I put on 1 1/2 pounds so Im now at my heaviest since I joined SW. So aiming for a really good week and will be working out a menu which I will share in due course.

Last couple of days have not been great but going to forget about them and start afresh.

Incidentally, does anyone know that if you are on an extra easy day, can you have cheese as your HEB option? You can have cheese as a HEB on a green day but Im not sure about Extra Easy ?

Flat Eric - the cheese as a HEb doesn't come up on the EE HEx's list online so I think the consensus is no, you can't.

Sadly no! You used to be able to but it is no longer available as a HEB on EE:mad:

Well all it was really was spaghetti cooked left in warm water , while he chopped up onion & carrot , he fryed it (use frylight )until tender .
He then added 500g lean minced beef (drain any fat off )cook until brown . ( could use quorn ?)
Then add passata , salt ,pepper cook for another 10 min .
Then drained the speghetti and add to the mince and leave to cool .
    Pre-heat oven gas mark 4
Beat 4 eggs and add to the mince& speghetti , add parsley and he adds 50g of parmesan cheese greated ( i'd syn it or h/a it and syn it)or add laughing cows  or just leave it out , mix well together .

Put mixture in dish and cook in oven and for 20 min leave to cool , he then put cheese on top and browned under grill ( i would'nt )

this is what gino cooked today on this morning . serves 6

Well, went to WI today and in my first week I lost 4lb!:j:j

Dad lost 6lb but the consultant said that men find it easier to lose than women. I was so amazed, at image therapy we'd managed to lose a combined 102lb between the two groups (our hall is tiny so we have an early group and a late group).

Hoping to stay on track for next week, so going to get stuck into meal planning, packed lunches and lay off the crumble on Sunday nights. I need to search SW online and make some low-syn cakes to snack on instead.

Bought the pudding rice as well so next time I get a free minute I'm going to make that syn free rice pudding with a vanilla ML and some splenda to get as close to regular rice pudding as possible.
