SW mag is worth it's weight in gold IMO. Lots of syn values. recipes, stories etc etc. I'll be very surprised if you don't find it a brilliant buy. :)

Well I have always bought the syn value book but the last 2 years have found it impossible to find anythng in it so I rely on the SW web site for my syns. I won't be buyng it again.:(
If you like cooking there are loads of SW recipes in the magazines (save all your old ones or cut out the recipes and stick into scrap book to make your own cook book), the web site is good for recipes and just googling Slimming World Recipes will turn up loads of stuff!

There are several good cook books which you should be able to look through in group. One of my favourites is a small one called Delicious Days. It gives whole days menus using mostly store cupboard items - a little gem of a book.

I agree with you Marion about the Food Directory and have complained loud and long to head office, but they seem to think there's method in what I consider the madness of the way items are listed!

I will have to have a look at the Delicious Days book. And Boo to Head Office - they are all alike and never seem to listen to the people in the front line. Sit in their ivory towers and think they know us better then the people who are in daily contact with the customer!

    Hey all

I'm creeping back in, and back on the SW wagon! :o I've had a hectic few weeks so fell completely off the wagon  - a friend's wedding, a weekend away, illness and a week away fully catered with work! Finger's crossed I'll stick to it fully this time.

    Today I had on green:

B- shreddies (HEB) with Skimmed milk (HEA)
L - jacket potato with cheese (HEA) and coleslaw (5syns)
D - pasta with HM spicy tomato and veg sauce, and cheese (HEB)
    Snacks - oranges

I also walked home from work, which is around a half hour walk.

I've hard boiled some eggs for snacks later and tomorrow, made double the pasta sauce and a salad with the left over pasta chucked in for lunch tomorrow.
