  • Today's food diary

    EE day

B - 28g Jordans museli and cuppa (hea and HEB)

    L - Ham salad

D - OH is taking me to the Harvester after work...... so the syns are gonna mount up! Any ideas as to what dishes in there are SW friendly??

I was thinking havin the salad for starters, risotto stuffed mushrooms with baby potatos for main and fruit for dessert - that is the sensible option.. but i know i'm probably gonna end up having

    Chicken wings and salad
Original combo (chicken and ribs) with chips and corn on the cob
    Cheesecake for dessert.....

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaargh!! Must resist the naughty option!!!!!! :rotfl:
All hail to the sale!!!!!!

    new beginnings...... new successes..

    Hi
I'm doing the slimming world diet on my own but can someone tell me how many syns i can have per day.
I think i'm going to be better at green days :)

I have 2 stone to lose. Can anyone help with these syns? Do you get more or less syns the heavier you are?

    Cari

With 2 stone to lose you can have between 5 and 15 syns per day.

    Enjoy

it doesnt work like that, some people lose more if they have all their syn allowance. I aim for 10 (I also have 2-3 stone to lose) Sometimes I have a few less and sometimes 12. If ive stuck to the plan 100% I seem to lose more in the weeks I have all my syns.

1.5 on today (over 2 weeks with lots of off plan eating, a BIG valentines weekend and a bit of a sweet binge last night). So it could have been worse, but need to get this sorted before I end up giving up. So this week I'm filling a food diary in again, I know where I'm going wrong, but it'll just make me think twice before eating anything synful as I'll have to write it down after.

    Today:

B: Apricot wheats (heB) with some milk allowance (heA) Banana, herbal tea.
L: Jacket potato and beans with some brown sauce (0.5)
D: Homemade tomato and rosemary soup, mushroom omelette in fry light with 42g low low (heA)
Snacks: Cup of tea with rest of milk, diet cherry coke, maltesers (5),

All has been eaten so far except Dinner, will probs have apple/activia and a hifi for my other heB, maybe a pack of milky way stars funsize 3.5.

That seems like such a lot when i write it down.

I'm going to try and stick to roughly 10 syns a day this week.

And well done Rob...you're keeping me inspired!

    Debt-free and Proud!
    B: 2 weetabix (HEb) + milk (HEa)

    L: Jacket Potato & beans

    T: HM Spaghetti Bolognese

    Snacks: Orange, Muller Light

Activity: 30 minutes swimming, 30 minutes walking, 30 minutes on the Wii Fit

My first day with no syns whatsoever! I know you're not really supposed to, but I'm quite proud of that. Not sure how people manage to eat 28g of cereal in the morning - I measured it out & there was barely anything in there!
