    Woohoo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

After only losing 1lb on my first week I lost 4lb this week - WI today as online member :j

The funny thing is that I seem to have eaten more this week too.

Still got loads to lose but this has really motivated me :D

:T Well done. It's great when you start to see the scales move in the right direction.

You're absolutely right about being a motivator :D. Keep going :)

Something seems to have clicked in me since New Year - I'm so much calmer, have nearly all the wedding stuff sorted (in my head if not in reality) and I feel really happy :) I just bloody hope it rubs off on my weight loss too as that's still getting me down a little!

Good to hear you are back on track SC..the last time I read the thread you were a bit emotional and stuck in a rut. Great to see you positive :T, hopefully that will rub off on the weight loss thoughts.

This forum would be lost without you :D

Right so today was one and a half syns with food as follows:

Breakfast, cup of tea, apple and pineapple lolly (missed cooked breakfast time at work but that's not a bad thing these days).

    What is a pineapple lolly?
I have been freezing things, that the packets say you cannot, and they are good!
like the cadbury's light mousse, if you pop them into the freezer, then get out 10 min before you want to eat it, it is just like a frozen choc desert (haven't worked out the syns yet - first week) they are great and also in the summer, i made up a skinny cow hot choc mix (b&m box of 24 for 99p) then when it was cold - froze it and that came out like a frozen chocolate stick, i could hack away at it for ages, you could really taste the chocolate and it took quite a while to finish!
i have 2 fresh pineapples in fridge that were reduced to 20p ea so i might be able to make this pineapple lolly?
also can anyone tell me, are pickled onions and pickled beetroot free on EE?

    Hi guys,

Just been browsing the BBC Good Food website, and have come across a nice looking vegetarian recipe that is very easy to convert to a free meal on green days, if you swap the olive oil for fry light. It's "butternut squash chilli with quinoa" if you want to look it up.
I like quinoa as it makes a nice change from rice or couscous, and is supposed to be a very healthy grain. mmmmmm!

Hope this helps any veggies out there!

ooh i made that a couple of years ago..it's lovely. Quinoa is a different kind of grain to get used to and yes...I felt very healthy for eating it :rotfl:

Pickled onions are free, I am guessing that beetroot would be the same. Can't find it in the book!
