  • Marion, what an evil cow. Call the head office & complain.

I felt sorry for my consultant this monring. She is lovely. This woman (who pushed in the queue in front of me) had a right go at her cos she had to pay 2 weeks. She joined last July, used up all her 6 weeks "holiday" & already got "given" an extra week holiday by the consultant. She was shouting that it was unfiar that she had to pay for 2 weeks & ranting & raving. She paid but told the consultant that she was going to call HO & complain.

I STS. I have stuck to the plan 100% & am doing food diarys atm. Consultant put on last weeks to eat more syns. My star week is due in the next few days though. I will still stick 100% & get on the wii fit this week as well.

Skint Catt have a (((hug))) xxx

Thanks Lisa. That woman at your group will be told what the consultant has told her. She's lucky to have been given an extra week for free too! I think some people just enjoy making a fuss (and I bet she's not doing that well at losing either? ;) )
  • skint, she's doing carp, lol!!!!

So she eats what she wants when she wants and doesn't go to class because she knows she's gained and expects not to have to pay! :rotfl: There's always one in every group!
She'll be telling people SW are ripping her off & it doesn't work :rotfl:

I am back from weigh in and have SS this week. I was hoping for a loss as I had been so good all week apart from the party on Saturday night with the bottle of wine and a huge slice of chocolate cheesecake and a few nibbles:o - actually thinking about it I guess I was lucky to stay the same!:rotfl:

My consultant !!!!!! me off this morning. I take my breakfast with me on Mondays so I can eat it after I get weighed (every little helps!). This morning I had a good sized portion of SW breakfast quiche - all of it was free food or syn free food. She told me I should not have that for breakfast because 1. normal size people don't have quiche for breakfast and 2. the portion was too large!

I told her that I had got the recipe from SW website and it is called breakfast quiche and that I understood that free foods were free? She then pointed out on the book where it says to eat lots of different foods and in moderate portions. Just to point out that the quiche I had was about 1/4 of the one I had made so contained 1 egg and 1 quorn sausage plus the peppers, onions, tomatoes and quark. She also said I should not have my breakfast rice (which I have once or twice a week) - again because normal people don't eat rice for breakfast! :( I pointed out that there were several million chinese people who would disagree with that and she said I was being silly:(

I feel really down now, if I wanted to reduce my portions and eat small amounts of food I would count calories - not go to SW!

What do you guys think? Am I wrong? Oh - there was a buffet this morning and she actually said to me - If you are eating all that quiche I assume you won't have anything from the buffet!!! I thought that was totally over the top! I can't even complain to the regional manager - she is one!

    Marion:(

My thoughts (that are printable) would be to phone or e-mail SW directly and then look for another class as that is downright rude. If that gets you no where perhaps the local paper migth like to hear how consultants treat people.

I thought a consultant was supposed to support, not abuse people.

I also think you really should name and shame her on this and other boards.

Marion im also raging for you, I would of been mortified.

I actually passed on your rice dish to our group the consultant said it sounded brilliant and a great way to save healthy extras for later. She also says if you want 3 lean chicken breasts with dinner then have 3, if its free then thats exactly what it is and you can eat as much as you like. The more you eat of the right foods then the more you lose.
As you said, if you had to start counting and weighing thing then you may as well count calories or do weight watchers, you would be starving and go off plan very quickly.

You know Sw works for you when you stick it, so dont listen to her and keep doing what your doing. ((HUGS))

I would definently complain about her attitude.

Our consultant does tend to reiterate that you should only eat until you're comfortably full but that's common sense - if it takes 2 mouthfuls or 200 then that doesn't matter!

Marion, have we got the same consultant?!! I'm really not looking forward to my meeting on Weds - my consultant was rude to me last week (my first WI) and as I don't seem to have lost anything this week I expect she will be rude again! I thought they were there to help you, not make you feel bad!! If it wasn't for the fact I won't have the password, I wouldn't bother going anymore :(

Thanks for all the support everyone:T:T I am not normally one to complain but I did feel aggrieved this morning. To be fair to my consultant she is not normally such an awkward [STRIKE]cow[/STRIKE] person and I was arguing my corner, which is what probably wound her up! I know that she does want me to lose weight and she tells me these things because she want to help - it is just that I think she is wrong on details sometimes :rotfl:

I won't name and shame her - who knows what her home life is like or what other troubles she has? Don't think that I am a wimp, but I think I will bring in the old 3 strike rule here! That was strike 1 today - so she has 2 left :rotfl::rotfl:.

I am going to go ahead with my week the way it was planned - eating the portions of free food that I need to stop me nibbling on other things. If I lose next week I will look her in the eye and tell her I had quiche and breakfast rice every day :rotfl::rotfl: - great huge bowls of it!!

I darn well better lose now!

    Love you all
    Marion
ps - I'm in a London borough by the way!

  • AF,which recipe are you using?

    For two of us:
600ml of vegetable stock, 2 tbsp curry powder, tinned tomatoes, 1 x corgette, 2 x chicken breast, Total 0% greek yoghurt

I fried the corgette, then blended it. Then I fried the chicken in frylight, and then added the corgette. Made up the stock & added it to the mix along with the curry powder. I let it simmer for about 15 mins (with no lid), then added the tinned tomatoes (i'd forgotten about them :o)

I then waited 5 mins, then decided to add about half a small tub of the total to it. Still no thicker after another 10 mins. Then I decided to emtpy most of the stock in my pan into the sink and make a new batch, this time using 200ml of water with the stock cube and curry powder, and adding the rest of the Total Greek yoghurt.

Waited another 10 minutes, and still no thickening. I got really hungry after that and just stuck it on some rice still runny. At least the chicken was nice!
