Marion, I thik that our consultant acted inappropriately and was plain downright rude! Im sure consultant will be on and advise you on what/ who to go to to make a formal complaint about it.

anyways- who is "normal"???? im really angry for you.

edit: ive heard that peple on SW who are near to their target and are struggling with getting the last few pounds off redcing their portion size; but i think that its down to personal choice.
what happened about SW being about what "you" as an individual want -- I ound it strange that when i first started my consultant didnt give me a goal or tell me my BMI - it seems as if yours has went against this.....

Thanks! I am no where near target I'm afraid - I have about 10 stone to lose!

    1. id have told her to f* off and 2, id have tolde her to go away and reread the slimming world book

she was extremely rude for a start and not very motivation other people would have seen that - you can eat as much as you want that the whole point of slimming world
as long as its free and super free foods and of course you should have had some buffet as long as your aware when you have had too much to eat then it shouldnt matter what she thinks was she on her star week ?

Thanks Rob! She is a very stong spoken person and doesn't always listen to other peoples points of view., there is only one way of doing things - and it's her way!:rotfl:

Chunky Tuscan Bean Soup, chilled, 600g pot 10
Healthy Living,Tuscan Bean Soup, canned, 400g can 15
Light Choices, Tuscan Bean Soup, canned, 400g can 13

Did,'t see it on the HEB list - sorry!

    Marion:)

Thanks Marion - appreciate this. I will NOT be eating it - as the 400g can is not exactly a large portion...!

BTW your consultant was (it sounds like) completely out of order. As she is a regional manager I would go to the top. Seriously - I would write to MMB herself - I don't think she would appreciate people being treated this way.

hi everyone. i've had a pretty good past couple of days apart from being very bored on saturday so decided to bake for my OH. made some fairy cakes and tablet. didn't have any of the fairy cakes and the tablet was sickly sweet and the recipe stated 2lbs of sugar. seeing that amount in the pot alongside butter etc has really put me off it and i used to lovelovelove tablet. had a tiny little bit of it and i got toothache and convinced my little mouth ulcer is from it. :\

today my breakfast was a couple of boiled eggs a banana and apple and just has some veggie broth soup for lunch. x

I am back from weigh in and have SS this week. I was hoping for a loss as I had been so good all week apart from the party on Saturday night with the bottle of wine and a huge slice of chocolate cheesecake and a few nibbles:o - actually thinking about it I guess I was lucky to stay the same!:rotfl:

My consultant !!!!!! me off this morning. I take my breakfast with me on Mondays so I can eat it after I get weighed (every little helps!). This morning I had a good sized portion of SW breakfast quiche - all of it was free food or syn free food. She told me I should not have that for breakfast because 1. normal size people don't have quiche for breakfast and 2. the portion was too large!

I told her that I had got the recipe from SW website and it is called breakfast quiche and that I understood that free foods were free? She then pointed out on the book where it says to eat lots of different foods and in moderate portions. Just to point out that the quiche I had was about 1/4 of the one I had made so contained 1 egg and 1 quorn sausage plus the peppers, onions, tomatoes and quark. She also said I should not have my breakfast rice (which I have once or twice a week) - again because normal people don't eat rice for breakfast! :( I pointed out that there were several million chinese people who would disagree with that and she said I was being silly:(

I feel really down now, if I wanted to reduce my portions and eat small amounts of food I would count calories - not go to SW!

What do you guys think? Am I wrong? Oh - there was a buffet this morning and she actually said to me - If you are eating all that quiche I assume you won't have anything from the buffet!!! I thought that was totally over the top! I can't even complain to the regional manager - she is one!

    Marion:(

Maybe it's the mood i'm in at the moment but I would have told her where to go with a few choice words. If she's a regional manager then that's even worse - I'd report her to head office!

Where in the country are you Marion? I hope she's not my regional manager!
