Hi, I was wondering if anyone can help me please. Is the Sainsburys 'Be Good to yourself' plain cottage cheese free on Green? I'm not sure which ones are classed as 'extra low fat'. Thanks in advance :)

I am an online member as I work shifts so attending classes regularly would be tricky. Also all my work colleagues who do attend groups go to their local ones which aren't near me. I have joined initially for 3 months but will then go to a group if I need to.

Online is less supportive but I get support from here plus my workmates. You do get the books explaining it all plus searchable features for recipes/syn values. You also get reminded to wiegh-in each week and a little graph plots your progress.

That said I dont think you can beat a group if at all poss

Many thanks Debjay! I just went for it and joined, i'm now trying to figure out what it's all about as there seeems to be 3 different options, original, Green or Extra Easy plan.....and i've printed off sheets and am gradually making sense of it all lol!

My first impression is WOW can I really eat all that!? :T yeehaa!
I'll stick to this thread for extra help because you guys really seem to know what you're doing.

    Thanks again x

Hiya, i'm new to this too and am feeling a little confused but i'm going to take it a day at a time rather than trying to get my head round it all in one go. My start day is tomorrow, wish me luck!

  • Well my hangover killed all good intentions today. Flapjack for breakfast. Healthy frittata for lunch damaged by garlic bread and wedges. Two slices of white toast with butter for tea, also with beans. And a lot of little cadbury mini chocolates.

Tomorrow really does have to be the start of clawing back. Anyone got any inspirational words??

Its been a hard weekend belfastgirl, all these special events like xmas day and Valentines day are a nightmare for us slimmers. Its too hard to resist and we are all human.

I also pigged out on Saturday night (and enjoyed it). We also had fish and chips on the way home from Glasgow last night as we were later than expected and starving, so out went the mince and tatties :o.
I was determined to get my half stone award this week but if im good from now on ill probably lose 1 lb.

However that 1lb is better than a gain, so im going to try my hardest for the next 3 days so I make sure I lose. I wont settle for sts as Im only letting myself down.

Mondays always a good day to get back on track. Forget about the weekend and focus on 100% days until Weigh in. Think of all the hard work youve already put in and how much youve lost.

    Im planning EE today.

B - 2 poached eggs on toast with WW lean bacon, mushrooms .
L - Fried rice with king prawns (in fry lite of course)
D - Mince and tatties, veg
    S- fruit and a yoghurt

Im going to put the mince in the slow cooker soon so it is ready for tonight and no excuses. If id done that yesterday before going out we would of had it there to come back to and avoided the chippy.

Ive found a beginners aerobics class tonight at a local sports centre. It says absolute beginners so im going ot give it a go. Off to dust of my trainers and leotard and leg warmers :pso everythings ready for later and again no excuses.

robpw - that's why wedding dress shops have seamstresses and you have several fittings after your dress comes in! They order the dress you want at the size you are right now (so worst case it fits!) and all dresses can be taken in (or out!) by up to 2 dress sizes. Mines due in end of April so I hope to have lost at least another stone by then though I'm struggling :(

i have never needed to wear a wedding dress so wouldnt know but thanks for clearing it up
