I did think about EE, but despite reading all the threads about it, am not really 100% sure.
Once a week I make up my lunches, and this week it will be based around my tomato sauce. As the week goes on I might add chopped low fat sausage or lentils or beans.
Its the sabotage bit I cant get my head round. Before I even realise it the food is in my mouth and believe there are plenty of opportunities.
I didnt make it to wi tonight, so I sent my consultant an email saying I am going to wi somewhere more convenient and asked her for the password for this week, she doesnt normally respond.
Please could someone post the link to the recipe collection, as I cant find it.
I edited my 103 post to say I had also walked briskly for 35 mins at lunch time
The recipe link is on the first page of the thread.
You should give Ee a go as it might make life easier for you if you still like meat and pasta together and are not too bothered about bread.
Any questions you have about it, ask away and we'll try to help.
I know its hard not to sabboutage all your hard work, but if you eat something without thinking then its not the end of the world. You can make it up the next day or the day after if you go over your syns.
Your doing well so far. Pick a small achievable target and keep it in mind. Or put a picture of an item of clothing you want to buy or fit into if you lose some weight and put it on your fridge and cupboards.
I have a picture of me in a summer dress that I took in August, its so disgusting (me not the dress) I really want to get into it this summer without looking 8 months pregnant.:santa2::xmastree::santa2:0 -
Right so today was one and a half syns with food as follows:
Breakfast, cup of tea, apple and pineapple lolly (missed cooked breakfast time at work but that's not a bad thing these days).
Lunch, SW chicken tikka, boiled rice, a banana, an orange and a packet of grapes
Dinner, SW chilli and boiled rice, 2 bags of carrot sticks (i use the asda kids fruit and veg bags) and a cherry muller light.
1 hour at thai boxing class, then home for another bag of grapes. I had a can of coke zero at some point today too come to think of it. Syn total 1.5!
Consultant thanks for the recipe, sounds good and will definately need to try it, also need to try the free rice pudding recipe that's going about. My sweet tooth is definately my downfall! The crumble wouldn't have happened if i wasn't at boyfriends, he lives right beside a big tesco where you can get everything at all hours wheras if I'd taken a craving at my house the nearest shop would have been 4 miles away!0 -
Hi everyone, I had decided to start tomorrow as that is the day I go shopping and stock up on all things SW, but I thought I would have today as a trial day and it's gone better than expected as I was so busy at lunch that I forgot it lol!
B - 28g Honey nut shredded wheat and milk (A) (5.5)
L - Nothing but snacked on some grapes at my desk
D- Tuna Pasta salad (with peppers, sweetcorn, red onion) dressing made with 4 tbsp of extra light asda mayo and 8 tbsp of v low fat fromage frais. (split between me and hubby and he ate more than me but counted as 2 syns for my half of the mayo)??
S - chocolate and fudge alpen light bar and 2 cups of tea (half a b and 2 syns for sugar).
So in total I think 9.5 syns for the day - doesn't look like much food now i've written it down and I wouldn't normally miss lunch but I was so busy and couldn't get a break. I am going to make a big batch of leek and potato soup tomorrow and also going to try a sw curry and lots of stir frys and things - 1 question on the EE are dried egg noodles free?? hope so yummy!!!Goal weight....lighter than when I started0 -

Only got another 2.5 stone to go!
good luck to all on keeping on track this week0 -
Today started ok but has got worse as the day went on.
Breakfast -28g porridge heb with milk from hea

tea - rst beef,sf roasties,peas.cauli,brocc,cabbage 2yorkies(6 syns) gravy(2.5 syns)

So far so good. Then at the last minute i ruin it by picking at the xmas cake(just the cake -gave icing to the dog) so another 10 - 15 syns(small piece) I'll just have to reign it back tomorrow.
Why do i always feel more hungry after i've eaten a roast dinner? about 2 hrs later i feel hungry again!!0 -
Hi All,

you need to go to class to get the password, we're at risk of losing access to things like syns online for free if non-members start accessing it. Why not wait 2 days and get the password when you start, or ring the consultant and ask if they can give you it?0

I don't think she would be very pleased if I rang her now!!!!
I appreciate that some people don't like to share the password with non members (not a member yet anyway but will be) however I was just hoping someone that remembered me may be around to help me out for a couple of days.As I understood it the rule was that the password was not to be published by any forums but a pm is a private matter?Maybe the rule has changed since I was last on here
In the meantime if anyone could give me the syn value for tesco chicken, garlic and white wine pasta n sauce that would be a big help? Also tesco lemon and herb couscous.
Will be posting my menu plan for the rest of the week when I have been shopping tomorrow:D:T:jHalf a stone off, only another 2 to go!:j:T:D;)Cats are truly evil, like women....;):D:p

Ok,today (yesterday??) was a complete right off as I had a massive hangover and very little food in.However this is my provisional menu for tomorrow:
I will be doing EE btw.....
B - muesli and mullerlight (heb and free)
L - pasta n sauce as above, depending on syns - yay only half a syn plus cheese hea on top
D - h/m chicken casserole and lemon flavour couscous, again depending on syns (skinned chicken legs, toms, passata, onions, peppers - all free),approx 2 syns for anchovy puree and tom puree - the couscous is free too, result!
Snacks - pineapple,h/m veg soup, slice from a hovis small loaf with 1 tsp flora light and marmite (3 syns + 1 syn)
So syns so far are 6.5:T:jHalf a stone off,only another 2 to go!:j:T:D;)Cats are truly evil,like women....;):D:p
