But I could roast them...
Am I right in thinking that you let them cool naturally and then put them in the freezer then? Also, do you just heat them up again in the oven or the microwove?? How long would they last for?
Yes, let them cool naturally (except the ones you are eating right away, get them down you). Then wrap them separately to re-freeze them, or in twos if you eat two at a time. A big roll of cheap sandwich bags is fine for freezing things, I find. To defrost when you want to use them you could move them to the refrigerator in the morning and they should be defrosted by evening. As for re-heating them, again I would but I don't think it's recommended for chicken, you need to make sure they are fully heated. Microwave on almost full power (not full, it will cook them further!) for a couple of minutes or 2.5 mins should do it.:jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j

Grrr I'm annoyed
I went out for dinner with the girls tonight. I chose to go to Harvester so I could have the salad bar, and then the wholewheat pasta with tomato sauce as this would be a great low syn choice.
I ordered the pasta, and had my salad (and only actually salad no coleslaw etc!) then the waitress comes over and says they are out of the pasta. I'm vegetarian so the only other choice was a sweet potato, lentil and veg burger. I asked for a jacket spud rather than the chips but they were out of those too!!!! The burger was breadcrumb coated. I left the bun and only had a few chips but so annoyed that I forward planned my meal and then I had to have loads more syns through no fault of my own.

in fact, autumnf, you could actually cook them in the microwave it's faster than the oven, and since you don't need the crispy skin this being a slimming world group ... then cool and freeze. I don't have a stove/oventop so all my cooking is done from scratch in microwave, slow cooker, or my latest gadget the halogen oven.:jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j

EE is the best of both green & red.
red - unlimited meat, fish & poultry, fruit & most veg - HEbs are pasta potato's sweetcorn parsnips & the usual HEB's.
green - unlimited pasta, rice, beans, fruit & all veg - HEb's are meat, fish, poultry & the usual HEb's.0 -
I need your help! A long long time ago I did a SW recipe which involved stuffing canneloni tubes with a cottage cheese & spinach mixture. It was probably out of an old magazine but as SW don't put the published recipes on the website recipe archive I've no hope of finding it again
Does anyone have one I could use pls? I'm sure it was fairly simple but would like to do it again this Friday night.

You could try this:
Wilt down the spinach then mix in v low fat cottage cheese and some nutmeg
fill up the canneloni tubes and put in a baking dish.
Make a simple tomato sauce with garlic, onion, slices of pepper, basil/ mixed herbs, and passata or tinned toms.
Pour on top of the canneloni tubes, sprinkle on some cheese as a HE or syns and bake in the oven till the pasta is soft.
Marion:)When life hands you lemons, ask for tequilla and salt and give me a call!!!0 -
Well done Rob thats an amazing loss.
Tonight at my weigh in I lost 2lbsi'm really pleased.
I had a lovely sausage & bean casserole for tea - i put too much garlic in though. Me & the house are a bit stinky at the moment. never mind it was worth it.
