Hi, I did slimming world years ago, so my books are really old! Was just wondering if you can still have 2 weetabix as one of the healthy choice allowances and if so can you substitute it with 2 oatabix instead? I'm wheat intolerant now so am trying to work out what I can eat! Many thanks xx
Other than 28g of oatibix flakes this is all I could find:
28g Weetabix Oatibix Bites, any variety + 1 Ryvita Wholegrain CB

Gingerfurball,
I still need to have a HEB - in Extra Easy can your HEB be cheese as well? I've looked at my sheets and it seems so but I didn't think that was the case before -have they changed it?
im afraid on EE you cant have the cheese as a heb. You used to be able to on green/red, this is because you can have 2 of each so you would still get the fibre from the other one iykwim:santa2::xmastree::santa2:0 -
Hi all, had my WI yesterday and lost 2lb, would have liked more for my second weigh in but at least its a loss (1/2lb) on first week
. But at least I am losing!
B - Sachet of porridge (Heb)- with milk from allowance and strawberries
L - 3 Ryvitas (poppy seed) (Heb) + 58g Houmous
T - Rice and mushy pea curry
Snacks, more strawberries and low fat natural yogurt
Milk for coffee (Hea)
No Syns, didn't feel like any and am going for a curry on Sat:rotfl:
Does the above sound ok? Am I right with the ryvittas on Heb??0 -
There's been a minor kitchen disatster
I went to get my chicken out the freezer, and it has all congealed together in one great big chicken-y mess.
I know that your not supposed to re-freeze chicken once its been thawed, but i've only used 2 out of the 10 fillets you get. I would have just bought some more, but at £4 a box, i can't afford it at all. If I cook the all of the chicken what can I do with it, how do I store it for, and how long does it last? or is it possible to re-freeze it or is it a big no-no?? Help please!!!Slimming WorldWeek 1 B]-7[/B Week 2 B]+1[/B Week 3 B]STS[/B Week 4 COLOR=DarkOrange]STS-3-2[/B Week 7 COLOR=Red]-1+2[/B Week 9 COLOR=Red]-2[/COLOR

Autumnflower, if it's still frozen and you have a solid kitchen floor, throw the lot as hard as you can onto the floor and it should break back into separate portions. If it's defrosted .... well I'd refreeze it myself but I count the runs as a weight loss bonus so I'm definitely NOT advising you to do that ... can you stick 'em all in the slow cooker, or roast or grill them, THEN re-freeze the ones you can't eat within a couple of days?:jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j
thank you Slimming World!

I don't have a slow cooker because they are not allowed in my halls
But I could roast them...
Am I right in thinking that you let them cool naturally and then put them in the freezer then? Also, do you just heat them up again in the oven or the microwove?? How long would they last for?Slimming WorldWeek 1 B]-7[/B Week 2 B]+1[/B Week 3 B]STS[/B Week 4 COLOR=DarkOrange]STS-3-2[/B Week 7 COLOR=Red]-1+2[/B Week 9 COLOR=Red]-2[/COLOR

That's a shame. SO HEB are just cereals, breads, nuts, cooked and dried fruit?
I still haven't had it but I really don't fancy any 'fibre' right now. I guess one day won't matter too much, expecially as I've had a lot of fruit and veg today.
Autumn flower, you shouldn't really re-freeze raw meat that's been previously defrosted. However if you cook the meat then you can either keep it in the fridge (upto 4 days or so?) or re-freeze it after it's cooled down.Trying to keep in budget.

Once they have defrosted you can cook them and safely refreeze the ones you don't need. You should not cook frozen chicken though - it should be defrosted thoroughly first.
