why are you deducting £190 if your council tax is £111 per month. Sorry if i have missed something.Quality is doing something right when no one is looking - Henry Ford

Hi everyone who is planning on giving this a go! Interested to see how we all get on.
Well, interview today was ok, waiting for callback from agency but sounds interesting. I may even have a *choice* of job if all goes well!! (or I may be stuck with none soon!)
B/f is getting camping groceris cos I can't get away from work for another hour.. here's hoping he didn't fancy carrying anything heavy!
Report to follow...
Have a good weekend all!Debt free 4th April 2007.

I meant that I would still ahve £190 of bills to take into account. I wouldn't have to take the council tax into account in my calculations.0 -
EMMZI following your thread with great interest well done just thought i'd mention that if you have a Lidl shop near you all of the fruit and veg are half price, bought tonnes from them before and its always been excellent quality so would highly recommend..... 42p for fresh pineapple cant be bad0

Hows everyone doing on this? You are all still doing it arent you? Its such a great goal to work towards.

Grr. Spent extra £5 on entrance to local highland games. Although was a nice event, and b/f had never been to one. Took own red wine (which looks the same as coke in the bottle) so avoided beer tent fees!
No seperation:-). We had a lovely time, went for nice walks, etc. Had to come back early today as I need to prep for an interview, but he has been fine, is doing some house things then having a nap.
£79.19 left. About £3.60 a day. We have some camping food left over, bread is in the oven, and all the cheap food from last weekend in the freezer. I need2 and a half no spends to get back on track. I will need to be creative with my lunches this week...
I am also tempted by Lidl half price veg etc.. but I don't *need* it right now... if I'm back on track by Thursday and it's still there, will make up some stews etc.
That's a struggle for me. Lidl within walking distance, and I *love* a bargain! No spend days are a tough culture change...Debt free 4th April 2007.

Emmzi-Great you are doing well! Nice that you got to go out with the OH.
We get our fruit/veg from Lidls when 50% off, but only buy normal stuff weekly but we often try a new fruit/veg when its cheap to see if we like it.

I resisted minstrels yesterday  I was in a bad mood all evening though
Hubby went to Morrisons, spent about £18. I keep telling him to keep the receipt because I need exact amounts
Spent £67.75 so far (that includes giving the kids a fiver each), £280.17 left for the rest of the month :TBulletproof0 -
woke up twice last night with killer heartburn, so am on a massive money saving eating plan today - plain brown rice, all day. Cost = 20p or so (but had in cupboard). Dull, but healthy. No soda, no chocolate, no booze... nothing fun until system all calms down again.
In theory you do this for 7 days and feel well. That'd make the no spend days a lot easier, but it's deadly deadly dull...Debt free 4th April 2007.

How's the brown rice diet going? You're a braver woman than me
Spent £24.89 in Aldi, that's for the week. I'll have to buy more milk and bananas during the week though, we get through loads of those.
Spent so far - £95.64
£252.18 left.Bulletproof0
