Well, I'm seeing a mortgage advisor on Wednesday lunchtime
Like the housing association bloke I booked the viewing with, he seemed very impressed with the amount of "homework" I've done

Hi everyone!
Moggins...I simply have to ask-was the "flying" you did this morning of the flylady variety or of the Besom broom variety being of the old religion et al?! My tiny mind is working overtime!
Very good weekend...amazingly for the first time ever we won in the raffle. We now have a magnum of fizz...it doesn't say champagne so heavenly only knows what's in it. Could be rocket fuel!! Had a very good weekend with my friend [I thought I was frugal but she can always teach me a thing or two!]
Lovely HM food...she did mushrooms in a cream and lemon sauce which were delicious and a raspberry cheesecake from a 30 year old recipe book she's just got 2nd hand. We really enjoyed the river festival in Bedford and then yesterday we went to Wimpole Hall. Fantastic walled gardens with loads of perennials and annuals and I saw my first ever humming bird hawk I think it's called [wouldn't quote me on that though]. They also have a collection of hilarious scarecrows that the gardeners have created completed out of recycled stuff [bubblewrap for arms], old clothes and I thought that would be a very good and cheap activity for the kidlets when they're off...particularly you OSers who grow your own!
Am trying not to dash around too much today but will need to pick up a card for my Mum's 60th. Had plans to make a HM one but have worked out that I can't fit it all in this week without grizzling! Small person is off to a FREE [how I love that word] party at the library after school today for the launch of this year's summer reading scheme. When I stagger back I will struggle to open the Tesco quiche box and sling a slice on everybody's plate!! Then I shall have to do some ironing and tend the garden.

LOL, it was of the flylady variety although being of the old religion I should probably have done it on my broom
Today I have shopped until I dropped, I even had to get a taxi back from town I had so much stuff and that was with my wally trolley in tow. Trust Debenhams to have a huge sale on and a further 10% off for cardholdersDH couldn't moan though as I got him 2 pairs of trousers and 3 t-shirts. I bought 3 christmas presents for a tenner, bought myself a crushable straw hat for the summer and some Tommy Girl perfume that was reduced to £15 and came with a free rucksack
I also got a lovely picnic rug which folds up to handbag size and has a handle
Bought way too much stuff to list it here but treated myself to a fried breakfast with orange juice which only cost me £3 and meant I didn't need any lunch.
Off to pick DD up from school in a minute and then taking her down to the doctors to have her meningitis jab, that will be fun (not).Organised people are just too lazy to look for things

- [STRIKE]Dirty cloth wash[/STRIKE] - in the machine now with stardrops & soda crystals THEN SP biological powder and no conditioner but an extra rinse at a 60degree wash - if that doesn't get these cloths clean I don't know what will :rotfl:
- Tiny bit of ironing
- [STRIKE]Dishes[/STRIKE] 3 things left to wash - big mayo jar soaking, grill pan also in to soak but in the sink, and our desk tidy is soaking in starclean - all can until I next do some dishes.

- Make 2 more photoframes for DD to paint
- Set up craft stuff for DD to do when she comes in
- Make pasta sauce up for tea tonight
