LOL It's nature's way of preparing you for the sleepless nights to come....seriously.
Also, I believe some of it is to do with the fact that when we're up and about, baby tends to be quieter cos we're rushing aound and bouncing/rocking them to sleep. Also, we are making greater demands on our oxygen. At night, you're lying quietly in bed, baby gets lots of oxygen and a chance to 'play'. And don't forget that when you're lying there at 4am, you are really aware of baby moving whereas when you're running for the No 69 bus, your mind's on other things
Just had an email from someone on freecycle who wants baby seats etc. I've offered her my travel system which although well used, is in perfectly serviceable and safe condition. She does charity work so I may even offload her with a few other bits and pieces when she comes. Must go into the attic later and fetch everything down, give it a quick spruce up and make sure I can find everything, like the cosy-toes etc. May give her my buggy too - it's in fab condition but it's just sitting in the garage getting dirty. Will see if it's likely to sell for more than £15, if not I'll give it to her.
catz....my boys are poppets ......most of the timeAnd Nels commented after being here that I'm the busiest person she knows (I'll just polish my halo some more :rotfl: ) I have to admit that the only thing I said on here that I was going to do that I haven't actually done, is to sort my tupperware cupboard. I still have to duck when I open the door
Off for a shower and hair wash. I'll get time to put my highlights in soon. I only coloured my hair last week!! Ah well, it'll get done or it won't

Just had a text from the other person who works here, but decided to have the day off and leave me in the lurch. They were moaning because I hadn't run something at 9.
Can't they leave me alone? They're not here so keep the nose out:mad:   :mad:Comping, Clicking & Saving for Change0 -
Morning everyone :hello: ... IT'S FRIDAY!!! :j :j ... it's still humid and I'm in the office ... Boss's boss came up to me late yesterday afternoon and said to me that he desperately needs me to take control of our document control system (something I knew I was going to have to do, but the last doc controller left months ago with no handover and I can see at least EIGHT boxes of backlog from where I'm sitting  ... I think it will have to be a case of sorting the process out and then persuading them to let me hire a temp to do the actual filing!
... Can vouch for the fact that TM is a very busy lady and her little lads are smashing, even though they run her ragged
... s'pose all that charging around after them is what keeps you so thin and gorgeous, eh TM?
... Breakfast was a smoked salmon bagel and cappuccino on special offer from a local caff ... Lunch will be turkey, avocado and mayo sarnies ... Dinner fish pie ... Am off to the opera tonight in £11 standing-room, looking forward to the production which I love, but think the leading lady might be a bit over the top, I've only ever heard her on the radio and she's not the best, but the rest of the cast should be fab ... Lillibet, meant to say yesterday, it does sound like everything's working out in your best interests :T - goodness, Spud must be nearly 1 now! ... PP, hope you're feeling better later and enjoy the cinema ... Looking forward to the weekend ... See you later ... Love Rzl xx

I realise that. But at the moment I'm literally sleeping like a log. Nothing disturbs me really except for a major thunder storm. I'm just a bit confused as the person who did our 20 week scan remarked that bean was a wriggler and that it probably kept me awake most of the night. I looked at OH... OH looked at me and we both told him no. I'm sure the sleepless nights will come eventually, but right now everything is normal.
Forgot to mention that OH felt a kick last night. Well....I describe it as a 'pop', but we both think it was a kick or a wriggle of sorts.Baby Year 1: Oh dear...on the move
Lily contracted Strep B Meningitis Dec 2006  Now seemingly a normal little monster.

Morning everyone!!
Quite pleased that a 'house blessing' yesterday got the house back into 'company ready' shape (or as ready as it can be until I replace the furnsihings, lol)
Pink winged - I hope you have a lovely time away. Are you taking your own tent or using one of the sites with pre errected tents?
Snowy - I really feel for you with your tiredness. Fortunately I am far from as bad as I was - for me the biggest help was leaving a job that was forever stressing me. Not so much the work (though it did a bit) but more the rediculouse company policies. Not an option for everyone I know - but for me it turned out my debt problems were in part due to the fact that I had less money in work than I do now on Income Support.
Hopefully companies will wake up to the fact that these sickness rules are just exhasperating things - not making them better. I did however find that they were a little better with me when I joined the union - not that the union ever helped. Just being a memeber was enough to make them be a little more carefull in how they handled things. What work do you do Snowy?
Hi TM sounds like you've a very busy day ahead! I'm hoping to get some PW done today too, but I'm also going to enjoy the peace before all three are at home for the w/e!
Scuzz - hope the long shift flies by for you (I know, as much chance of it doing that as pigs..... but we live in hope eh?)
Aussie Lass - Oooo, you lucky thing! I'd love to have a new kitchen - you must be really excited. My kitchen is very OS - it's actually a year older than me!!! Can't quite decide which of uss has aged the worst tho' as it looks like we've both had a hard life, :rotfl:
Rchddap - I can 100 % recomend the banana loaf or welsh cakes for a picnic - both travel well and are ususally enjoyed
Skystar - hope you have a good day and it stays cool for you.
cha97michelle - ooo you evil tinker you!!!;)
Penny pincher - hope you enjoy the film! oo- off to see what a 125 grab a bag is. will I find it on the website??
Catzine - hope you have a lovely time when you get here. Drizzling with rain today, but lovely and cool - good weather to travel in.

Planning to get a bit of paperwork done today - including working out a routine.... after I've drunk my tea and attempted to catch up on here of course

Hello everyone,
Not been on and posted for ages, but have been lurking whenever i have a few spare minutes.
I desperately need to get back into OS - the freezer is packed and needs to be cleared out and sorted through. I know i have lots of food in the house, just identifying it and making an actual meal is prooving to difficult for my brain at the moment!!
Also need to get the finances back into ship shape order - been so side tracked with so mnay things recently. Slap on the wrists please!!!
Off to work in a couple of hours, but need to pack for the weekend before that then do a quick run round the house to make sure its clean and tidy. Boyf and I are doing a 'parents' weekend - staying with my parents saturday night and his on Sunday night. Its the first time that either of us have met each others parents and although i am not nervous about him meeting mine (I know they will love him) and I am soooooooo nervous about meeting his mother! I just want her to like me!
Apart from that just working away with the kids - been lots of fun although have managed to get signed up to taking three of them to the zoo next week. I see trouble ahead.......
hugs to all - hope you guys have a good day and don't melt.
r. macr.mac, you are so wise and wonderful, that post was lovely and so insightful!0 -
