    Morning All

I'm back from my holiday, Dorset is lovely and I really envy any of you who live down there. Got back on Saturday but the laptop has been broken ever since. DH managed to fix it last night but I went to bed at 9pm unheard of for me.

Hello  Kiwichick nice to see you back.

((Hugs)) to PP again I echo what others have said you are no way a bad mum, I sure that there will have been plenty of kids leaving school yesterday with no parent picking them up, enjoy your holiday and spend as much of the next 6 weeks as possible with your DD.

Chipps my MIL had the same problem with BIL in the end she had to buy him a shed at his new house to get rid, not the most MSE answer but effective.:p

Queenie Enjoy your gardening, maybe abit of tree climbing will help DS lose the attitude.

Kaz Well done you dont forget to post a picture when its finished.

Catowen Have fun with your mindies.

ageandjo Hope you get your neighbour problem sorted soon.

scuzz Three words "Work life balance" (NHS jargon), I've discovered that lifes not worth it without. :D

Hello and hugs to anybody I've missed out.

DD is still asleep as she was up in the night so I'm being very quiet, WM is on and I have a ton of stuff to do before I go into work at lunchtime. Everything seems to have gone abit to pot since we got home from holiday so I need to get back on top of it. Never mind only working this afternoon and then Im off till Monday.

    Have a good day everyone

Big hugs PP. I agree with everything everyone else said. Your daughter will remember the time you spent with her, and the things that you were able to do. Health is something too many of us take for granted. Hope today is a better day for you.

Aussielass - you can't beat a good old dose of Home and away. It is usually the thing i completely unwind in front of after work, and it is great to see the sunshine on a dull day, and know a comedy disaster is around the corner every week. I've even got my DH enjoying the odd episode even if only to take the mickey. Secretly i love it, and have watched it from being about 9 when it started here. Neighbours on the other hand, is far too daft for me. :rotfl:

    Morning.

Glad to see you are feeling a bit more cheery this morning PP. I posted for you on yesterdays thread. ;)

I have been quite restless through the night. We were woken by one of the cats being upstairs at 4am. I had left DH to kick them out, and lock up properly. He didn't even stir, although he soon did when i poked him in the ribs. :rotfl:

I was a bit peeved with him anyway yesterday. I realise he is better than some DH's but he does leave me to do an awful lot, and isn't always considerate. He let me down twice yesterday. He was late home from work, and didn't even bother telling me, so i am sat there at 8pm starving, not having started dinner, and no phonecall. I had to ring him, for him to say, oh yes -i'm late. I wouldn't mind if it were a one off, but you are talking about this happening a couple of times a week.

He's also arranged a guy to come round and look at the aerial today as we need the connection point moving for redecorating. Fine. What time? He can't remember. Again, not normally a problem, but i've also arranged for my 2 sisters, 3 nephews and aunty to come round today. - and he's wanting me to loan him my car while his goes to be fixed, only he won't tell me a day, so i have to keep altering my plans of what i need to do so that i won't need to go out. I don't think i'm asking a lot really. I know its my pregnancy hormones making me more irritated than normal though.

Looks like rain here today. I don't think i will be getting much done, but if i can keep where i am with the 3 whirling derlishs coming to visit, i will be doing well. I'll be back later to regain some sanity. Love my family, but glad when they leave!!

Morning all..... (((((((((HUGS)))))))))))) to those who need them especially PP..... you had a very bad day yesterday, but you are not a bad mum but a very good one who is doing her best despite overwhelming odds to give her daughter a really good start in llife...... glad you arre feeling a little better this morning............

I was awake early, so got up and did the ironing thats been sitting in the basket for a week, whilst it was still cool, windows are all shut up and curtains closed until after lunch.... we had a little rain this morning but only enough to wet the pavement.

Have an appointment at the hospital this afternoon re the cystitis, will see what they have to say, its right across the other side of town in a hopital I am not fond of, but its where the kidney unit is.... so do not have a choice....

Nothing really planned for today, need to sort out the washing basket and see if I have a full load, otherwise it can wait...........

    Have a good day...............

Morning :D ... It's PAYDAY ... It's not just any payday either, it's JULY payday when we get our annual "cost of living" increment ... Course at the moment it's all going straight into the savings ;) ... I had factored a certain amount into my projected savings forecast but the actual figure beat it by £6 a month ... so what with that and the choir wage rise I mentioned yesterday, my savings are looking pretty healthy now ... and that's WITHOUT my company having sorted out the "actual" pay rise I'm supposed to get for having changed jobs at the beginning of this month ... so am expecting another bump up and a bit of back pay, hopefully next month :j :j :j ... IF I get offered the flat I want, that would be perfect timing :T ... Still waiting to hear though ... should be this week ... Am still on edge with nerves! ... Out every night to take my mind off it (though I have no plans for tomorrow evening, and don't mean to make any either - if I don't have an evening off this week I'll run out of food and probably collapse with exhaustion ... Anyway ... PP, I just want to second what everybody else has said ... you're a fab mum, you've got a lovely family, and you do sooooooo well considering all your problems ... jockettuk, you made me LOL with your descriptions of thunder and lightning being God going about his business - when I was little, one year I announced to my parents that when it rained it was God doing a wee - and I insisted that it said so in the Bible :o:D ... I've got to dash off ... lots of work to do ... Will be back later ... Rzl xx

Penny-Pincher! You'll love Pagham! Well I say that, haven't been in years, but oh the childhood holidays I spent there in a caravan!:D
It's a pebble beach, but so clean, with crystal clear water! As a child I was always a wuss about seaweed, and you really didn't get it there at all! Along at Bognor nice sandier beach, but masses of seaweed and cloudy water! And that glorious sea air will do you no end of good!:T ( I will echo what everyone else has said. You are a great mum!!! You have taught your daughter one of THE most important life lessons - namely you have to play the hand you're dealt to the best of your ability! You, my sweet, are playing a blinder with a severely cr@ppy hand!! And no hospital till Monday, worth a celebration, methinks. Enjoy your day at SIL.

Catowen, my gran did her stairs with a dustpan and brush, 'cos she said hoovers just didn't do the job right! I wasn't about to try and find out if there was any truth in it, perhaps you can let us know?:rotfl:

Kazonline hope the fence goes well today! You're an inspiration, and yes it shows that the watching of these programs is NOT for enjoyment but purely research and training for when needed!:rotfl: ( My teas only had one reheat!!)

Queenie "attitude" Yep remember that, think they kept them in a box by the classroom door. You know Pick your own on the way out!

Ajax18 calm down, breathe and enjoy!! You haven't forgotten anything remotely important, I promise!!

Well must get on, I've got a ton of vegetables to prepare and the clockhands are going round. Have a good day everyone.

    Good Morning All

Not a bad nights sleep here considering the heat, got up at 7.30 as its bliss for me to have sometime alone before the kids get up. They are both up now and have breakfast. As its the first day of the holidays for us they are quite happy just chillin in the house today though they will probably spend most of the day in the pool.

Myself - 1 load of washing on. DW emptied and kitchen cleaned. Just about to hoover the stairs and kitchen - everywhere else can wait. Need to finish eoyear, do loads of filing and ironing. Also want to try and book an eyebrow wax today as we go away Sat.

Its very very hot and humid here today - think forcast is for thunder later - will wait and see.

    Well will start hoovering.

    Have a great day all.

    Morning all

No time to stop so hugs to everyone who needs one.

Picnic hamper is packed and we are almost ready to go, I have to pick DS up from his dad's which I could do without. Everything is by the door ready to go only the car is parked in the Cul de sac round the back so I have to struggle through the alleyway with it all. I haven't driven this far in ages so it's going to be a real challenge for me especially with 2 kids in the car.

Wish me luck everyone, if I post later you'll know I made it :D

Not like the poor beggars at Minsterworth last night :(
