Good morning all,
Just got up and feel surprisingly refreshed... Despite the mega loud roadworks outside! Off to work in a few minutes. Took on a second job which means I won't be coming home until 7! (that's 13 hours from now). But hey, I chose it... So looking forward to the wedding next week - and the honeymoon! I haven't been on a proper holiday for soooo long. Can't wait!
Went to Tesco at 10 pm yesterday and found loads of bargains in the reduced section. Managed to do the whole weekly shop for £ 6,80! :T
Well, that's it for now. Have a great day! Supposedly the hottest of the year so far!0 -
Morning all again,
Just managed to drop off when the alarm went off at 5am. Made up DH packed lunch whilst still half asleep, god knows what hes ended up with some strange concoction no doubt.
Nothing earth shattering going on here today, some bedding to wash and iron but thats it apart from the usual flick around with the vac & duster.
Well done on the budget shopping Ajax18:T
Off to try and rouse the kids, take care everyone and remember to drink plenty of fluids, slap on the sun cream and stay in the shade if you can oh and wear a hat (beginning to sound like me mother now):D
Catch you later

Morning all
well yesterday i managed to get all my important things done in the morning and before it was really hot. however i had a near disaster withthe dog who insisted ( anyone with dogs will know that they really do this lol ) on going for his usual 2pm walk. ended up with him collapsing and being on the verge of heat stroke! had to spend the afternoon cooling him down with a plant water spray bottle and putting ice cubed in the numerous huge bowls of water he drank. so today i have to put my foot down and say no and mean it!

this morning i was up around 4.45
walked the dog in the cool!!
have baked 24 eccles cakes, a rhubarb meringue pie and now have two loaves in the oven. the kitchen is like a sauna so i am upstairs where its cool having an iced peppermint tea and browsing for a bit.
Breakfast: just tea
Lunch: left over chicken and salad sandwiches
Dinner: hotdogs and various salads . Rhubarb meringue.
Having read the new challenge thread yesterday i have decided my personal challenge is to clear out the spare room - its so full of - of - well everything! - that i can barely get the door open -

Aussielass I hope your son gets better soon
Snowy, he will come back, mine are always frightening me like this.
PP I hope all goes well at the hospital.
I don't quite know what I am up to today apart from waiting for the Tesco delivery to arrive. I've got a huge shop coming but used a money off code and it should mean I don't have to do much shopping through August. Just a general tidy up required and one basket of washing to go out on the line.Organised people are just too lazy to look for things

Snowy Didn't read that your kitty has gone awol.
Maybe he's found a girl friend.
Hope he comes back soon.
Brokenwings Know exactly what you mean about the dog walkies. My little one sits in his big bowl of water outside and cools off. They sleep well though.
Moggins Thanks for that. I hope he recovers quickly too. Too far away for me to fly up. He's out west in a mining town. He is the one I was telling you about that was stick think like your DD. He's just started to fill out a wee bit. I bet he's lost a bit.

Well, another night where i couldnt sleep, mind you, i was bought a cup of tea at the sports day yesterday, and im not used caffine so im hoping it was that.
Not sure what im up to today, 2 little ones here and they both have sleeps, especially in this weather, so should be a nice day, im hoping to get a lot done, as i still havnt caught up with all the housework i shouldve done at the weekend!!! We are going to walk to school this morning (a VERY rare occurance) i thought it would be nice for the little one who is already here, get some fresh air before it really starts to heat up!!!! On nice days we do walk in the afternoon as well, but we have more time then so can go slowly, mornings arnt quite as leisurely!!!!
Right, better start doing something, hope everyone has a lovely day
Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx0
