personally I prefer the boots vouchers :) If I have cash I'll spend it. Vouchers are safely saved in a special place and I find it re-assuring :) I know I could have gotten £15 more for my points by going the betfair route but sorry me personally - I prefer the vouchers :)

DH and I opt for leisure vouchers which we'll spend on another "free" long weekend break later on this year. The betfair route isn't for me either.
There is a forgotten, nay almost forbidden word which means more to me than any other. That word is England.

I hate to sit on the fence, but seems like a lot of time is being spent on commenting on or criticising how other people spend their own piggy points... can we just say 'each to his own' & get back to discussing the great deals/contests etc... it's too hot to argue ;o)

This is a discussion board, not just an announcement board. And I'm interested to read the pros and cons of making the most of our points. I don't consider discussion as arguing, and reading (and typing!) don't make me hotter!

I think that must mean that I disagree with EagerLearner - but s/he is perfectly entitled to their opinion, and I'm pleased to read it. :)

As it happens, I'm in two minds as to whether to open a Betfair account, and it's not quite as easy for me as it is for most, so the simplicity of opening the account, and getting the bonus funds paid into it, is very interesting for me.

I assume, however, that the bonus £25 from wherever cannot be taken out as soon as it's paid in, and that the account-holder must make some sort of bet with at least some of the money involved.

I don't like gambling sites, either, and they make me nervous. [Note to innovate: That may explain something to you] On the other hand, for that very reason, I'm happy to reduce their profits by taking a slice of them for myself!!

I also think that the rake-off PB take from our £10 vouchers, amounting to £1.50, is too steep - not maybe for the purchase of ONE voucher, but I think if you're buying TEN, then their £15 slice is much too much.
I'm not just talking about my wife, I'm talking about my LIFE, and I'm not just talking about MY life, I'm talking about everybody's life. I'm talking about form. I'm talking about content, I'm talking about interrelationships. I'm talking about God, the devil, Heaven, Hell. Do you understand...FINALLY?
