If anyone is still waiting for Skilljam points - you might want to chase up. I chased mine up recently and got a reply this morning saying that all points had been allocated - so if you haven't got them (like me!!) something has mucked up somewhere. I've sent a very detailed e-mail complete with enclosed receipt, etc, so fingers crossed they credit me ...

About 2 months back I started to think that the names of people who were winning the daily quizes looked firmilier. I wish I had started to keep a list then but I did not start until 11 days ago.

I notice today that the winner of the money quiz today also won the money quiz on Saturday!
I've said it many times before that there is a surprising number of lucky PBers... It's usually either someone who's been a member for all of 3 days, or someone who's already won a few times.

I've asked PB about this, and they replied denying that there is anything wrong with their system that chooses the winners. I'm still not convinced, though...

you need to Deposit a minimum of $10 into your account to get the points
Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it.
Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.

  • Okkkkkkk... OneFlewOver - the comment was not against you at all (haven't even read your post)
Riiiiiggghhhhtttt ... I didn't think that your post was against me, as I haven't posted in this vein before. So when you say you haven't even read my post, I don't think that there was one to be read ... IYSWIM.

However, before posting, I generally do ensure that I have read all posts! I get into less trouble that way! ;)
but either way I personally come on here to find out the latest in events/games/who won what/best point earners/ general banter etc and the to-ing and fro-ing over Betfair seems to have become a bit of a monster in terms of page space that's all and you have to sift through it now to get to the 'normal' stuff.
Actually, I agree with you on that. There has been a lot of space taken up by Betfair-related posts just recently. I'm interested, but not THAT taken with it. However, if there have been a lot of posts on the subject, it must mean that a lot of people ARE interested. I skim the posts which I think I'm not that interested in and move on. Tain't difficult! And sometimes, I find that I actually AM interested in a post after all.

I'm all for a liberal dose of laissez-faire.
I'm not just talking about my wife, I'm talking about my LIFE, and I'm not just talking about MY life, I'm talking about everybody's life. I'm talking about form. I'm talking about content, I'm talking about interrelationships. I'm talking about God, the devil, Heaven, Hell. Do you understand...FINALLY?
  • If they think that £1.50 is fair, so be it, I'm still ahead.;)
Oh, I'm not complaining about getting something for nothing!! Nevertheless, you do realise that PB buy the £10 vouchers for something like £8.50 (someone will correct if I'm far out), so really make about 30% on the deal? Sorry, I enjoy PB and all that, but I think it's a touch on the greedy side.

Of course, it's not me who has to balance their books ... However, the thought of NOT losing £1.50 on every voucher is very attractive.

I have 12090 points. Enough not for £120, as the PB homepage tells me, but for £100 and a little bit over. I'm all for getting the £20 extra!! :)
