If you've got up early every morning for 50 years (from age 15 to about 65), turned out in all weathers, no matter how you felt. Were stuck at work during all the good weather, unable to just kick back and relax .... then when you retire, just mooching about doing nothing must be fabulous. Finally ... after all these years ..... there's no piper who wants him to dance.
