Good to hear about the new bed and the wondersful sleep. Not so good about the toothache and the crown/rc filling but OK about the cost though. I had one of those a good few years ago but luckily it wasn't long after having DS2 so it was low cost.
That doesn't seem too bad on the OH's car insurance esp with the MOT and the cashback. More expensive than you were expecting though because of the ban I guess.
I can't say I blame you with the MS/ebaying either I'm with you on that although no excuses bar studying...Working Hard to be Debt Free - one day :A soonDFW Long Hauler 74; Mortgage overpayments MFiT-2 challenger 100Total Nov07 £36000, Sep10 £1623:o:)0 -
Signature updated and down to 3 CCs
So, plan of action is target Asda card which has £2922 0% until September 2010. I'm currently paying £250 a month on this one which I need to double if I am to pay it off by September. I will try. My plan is to pay all extra earnings to this card as they arrive that way I can't spend them on anything else!
Haha! Its a plan:p
Good news is thanks to all my extra bedroom and hol spending I got £44 in M&S vouchers woop woop so bought OH a new workshirt and tie and £15 left for me :T
Now Tesco card has been BT'd I plan to use that for all my monthly expenditure - cant wait for those lovely points to start rolling in
TTFN, have a good month everyone cgxCC Debt: Jan 10 £21,660 now £8,170 hurrah!0 -
Wow thats brilliant getting it down to only 3 cc's and all at 0% which is great.
Paying off the Asda card is a challenge which I am sure you can do. Its so good to have a target to focus on. I'm with you and am so looking forward to clearing my Tesco card next payday so that we can use it for our everyday card and earn lots of lovely points.

M&S vouchers spent on new shirt for OH and new top for me - so very fair for once:T
Asda card. Hmm, I am having probs with this one and its a critical time as 0% 1 is coming to an end. i do online banking dds & dont get paper statements for all my cards and this one has suddenly stopped working. Customer Services say its because ive been sent a new card and havent registered it but I have. After 3 unsuccessful calls ive asked them to restart the paper statements but it means ive not been able to make extra payments as I cant get on to my account - typical! Got to get back on to them again next week
Am organised and have got 4 cards and pressies sorted for this months bdays, so can tick them off list hurrah!
All progressing nicely and ticking forward to next paydayttfn cgx

MS today £15 - result!
Shopping doesnt arrive till Weds so went poking around in back of freezer & found a packet of chicken then pulled up 5 titchy half frost bitten half slug chewed pak choi in garden and turned 'em into ginger & pak choi chicken lol!
Marvelous! stir fried everything and the pak choi wilts so you cant see the slug holes! Mental note to self to do this more often lol cgxCC Debt: Jan 10 £21,660 now £8,170 hurrah!0 -
I so love that description CG titchy half frost bitten half slug chewed pak choi sounds so appetising;). It certainly sounds inventive - well done
Its always good to have a poke around the depths of the freezer - amazing how a meal can be created. Ours are so full at present (shop was delivered last week) that everytime I want anything I have to unpack to whole darn lot - cold hands or what.Working Hard to be Debt Free - one day :A soonDFW Long Hauler 74; Mortgage overpayments MFiT-2 challenger 100Total Nov07 £36000, Sep10 £1623:o:)0 -

BOth my kids off school again due to a power failure, yesterday and today grrrr
Just when I thought we were on top of things this month we've had

2. OH car service light has come on (this was £600+ last year!)
3. My car boot is playing up - booked in for next week £49.50 for a new lock and sensor!
Oh well, they say it comes in 3's £285 available in car fund & £200 more in April so hopefully will cover it.CC Debt: Jan 10 £21,660 now £8,170 hurrah!0 -
