  • Hi there WH, its all going well thanks how are things with you? I don't seem to get on here much these days. Since leaving work ive never been busier! It was defo the right time for me to go, i didn't realise how miserable it made me!

I'm doing the exam invigilating and still MSing, which is keeping me busy and brings in a bit of cash

I've paid most of our debts off, just another 2 cards to go but the 0% doesn't end till June so keeping the cash in my acct till then, and i will have to BT about £3k but that feels great compared to the £40k we had 4 years ago!

I have started to apply for a few jobs & I'm going to need to start earning before xmas, but thats a long way off atm, i'm planning a summer in the garden :) ttfn cgxx

Well summer in the garden is cancelled 'cos ive got a new job as a receptionist in a doctors surgery! just started this week and im loving it! Completely different to anything ive done before and a lovely change. Ive still got all my other things on the go so MSing and invigilating like a woman possessed! Can't wait for my 1st payday and to see how that affects the budgets 'cos everything is really stretched atm.

Dont know about anyone else is finding things but my £700 food petrol and haircut budget is really feeling the pinch and is now coming in more like £900 per month - not good and not helped by the massive fruit and veg bills we are running up due to the fact that me and OH are doing SW! Roll on June and my garden should start producing tasty veggies.

Ive paid off the RBS CC and BT'd £5860 balance from OH's Virgin to Barlcaycard so we have 18 months 0% to clear it. The bed is paid for in June and my final CC Asda will also be paid off in May leaving me a small balance in my saving account for emergencies. I know I could have paid this off the virgin card but I just wanted a small rainy day fund incase things go t*ts up!

So all in all things seem OK in CGs household, hope everyone else is doing well cgx
