Good news only 2 more days till I leave work!! Can't wait, bring it on!!
Bad news OHs car is onthe blink again!!! He took it to dealership - always a mistake as the air con has bust again and when they started looking at it of course they found other things need doing do at a cost of - wait for it! hope you are sitting down! £2,000!!!!!
So, told him NO not having any repairs done we are now looking to swap car - I was trying to delay this till at least Sept 11 which is when the loan is finished but this morning it woudn't start and we had to have a call out (Thank heaven for royalies gold!) and found out alterator has gone & maybe battery so thats been towed to a local garage for repair mere £280!!! so it is definitely going - I dont want to fork out for repairs each month! So money for the loan is in the budget and as long as it doesnt go up then hes got the green light for car hunting- I just have to accept this as a regular expense like a 2nd mortgage!
But on a lighter brighter note, the MS's are going well, got another 2 planned for this month and ive updated my tax spreadsheet - completing the return will be a job for next monthoh and ive got my greenhouse fleeced up in readiness for the frosts - I will have christmas new potatos! cgx

Sorry to here that Herewego, ours came in at £329 incl vat - had to have it done there and then 'cos it was being towed for us! Not happy but what can you do? Cars. The necessary evil of the 21st century grr. Anyway, its our aniversary today and what a joy. Been car shopping and have signed up to a new one so this is going Friday - glad we got our money out of the alternator! and we pick up the next addition to the family! The finance has gone up slightly, £25 more per month but we've taken it over 30 months and the last one was a 5 year loan so hopefully this one will last us till then.
Just checked my onliine banking and OMG OMG OMG my severance pay has gone in already!!!!! Its scheduled to go in on Monday so I will be technically deft free!!!! Woop Woop! Need to get it all sorted and transferred out on Monday cos its just in my current account at the moment but WOWEE! that was fast! I only left on Friday and have only just got rid of the hangover lol!
Good Timescgx
