Cheers Beanie, we did pilates on Monday really enjoyed it had to control myself giggling but my word, my bingo wings are aching today! Also the stomach muscles I didnt know I had have decided to make themself known! So we are going to add that class to our gym repertoi!
Shock yesterday at work, I caught my toe on the foot rest - the one I 'stubbed' and ripped the nail clean off:eek: Once I had stopped screaming and dared to look I can see a new nail growing so I dont think ive damaged the nailbed and hopefly it will jusst grow back normally but i'm not going to paint my nails for a while cos I think it is a delicate little baby nail and I dont want to give it a set back.
Finances are just ticking along this month, with a bit of luck I might have a couple hundred left over which will be paid on the Asda 2 card - 1st overpayment for a while
OH has a big meeting on Monday to update them on the future. Sounds ominous. we are trying not to stress but it is a little concerning. anyway, onwards and upwards! cgxCC Debt: Jan 10 £21,660 now £8,170 hurrah!0 -

Hi guys, I'm back, had a fab time and ready to return to normality.
Straight into things yesterday, returned unspent hoilday money and some unworn clothes £300 paid straight back onto CC.
spent day in garden today - I picked and froze 1.5kg green beans & 500g peas dug up the last of my potatoes, picked 6 massive courgettes/marrows! and 3 cucumbers, so bought some pickling vinegar and have got 3 differnet courgette chutney/jam recipes to try this wkend:) We had spicey courgette pasta for tea plus froze 6 extra portions! ~If any left a Courgette lemon drizzle cake is on the cards for this weekend lol!
Looking out for a car boot before the end of summer
Going out for a meal tomorrow night for my parents Golden Aniversary then nothing planned till my nephews wedding on Aug BH wkend so between now and then our belts are being tightened as I type! Back to work tomorrow and I'm told the vol exit scheme is back on so I am putting an app in tomorrow.

Sounds like you've been busy CG. Just got back myself. Youe veggie efforts sound fantastic however I can compete this time .......pears on our pear tree - LOL - no WHDFW effort at all!!!
FAB news on the unspent holiday money and the returned clothes. I wish I could say the same but alas not.
Is it good news on the Vol exit scheme? Have you planned what you'll do with the dosh?Working Hard to be Debt Free - one day :A soonDFW Long Hauler 74; Mortgage overpayments MFiT-2 challenger 100Total Nov07 £36000, Sep10 £1623:o:)0 -
hi WH, I am so jealous! I would love a pear tree!!! am working on OH to dig up existing trees and replace with fruit trees but not looking promising lol!
I'm, just waiting to hear if i'm eligible for the scheme and if so I should have enough to clear all our debts with a little tiny bit left over and that is what I plan to do with it. I thought about reducing the mortgage/investing but I know what we are like and if I just pay things off (when the 0%'s end) then we can't fritter it on holidays!
Once everything is paid off we will be £140 down each month but that is almost covered by the child allowance so in theory we wont be any worse off - I will have to stick to budgets but I can't help feel i'm missing something. Its really scary but i'm going for it and am looking forward to having some time off before I start job hunting.
Good luck for your job search cgxCC Debt: Jan 10 £21,660 now £8,170 hurrah!0
